I completed the campaign and the Cathedral of Light capstone dungeon, as well as leveled up to 50. I was told world tier 3 would be unlocked on my alts. However, upon trying to change it in Kyovashad, it appears locked and says I must complete what I mentioned above.
Anyone know if this is a bug?
Edit - never mind, I found my answer.
It’s not a bug, you have to unlock WT3 for each char. Why would it unlock for other chars if you are not at the required gear level? Thats the whole point of the capstone dungeon.
Except when you have a friend run you through capstone and you just stand at the start under leveled and geared … so you’re wrong

Ok. You found out why. But…
You never stated why. This information could be useful to others. Myself for example.
I completed campaign on Necro and unlocked tier 4 with same. Selected to skip campaign on alts. Now running Sorc with friend helping tier 2 capstone dungeon. Completed it. Tier 3 won’t unlock. I was in a group and a third (also Sorc) was doing same as me and they got the unlock, but not me. I logged out to character selection. Still locked. Logged back in, still no (at Kyovashad statue.) Logged back on Necro then back to Sorc. Still no. Ran capstone again, still no. All this and somehow had quest to do nightmare sigil. Had the sigil in inventory. Can’t do sigil cuz need to be in tier 3. Can’t get to tier 3 cuz locked. I even created a brand new Sorc and completed tier 2 capstone. It would not unlock for the new Sorc either.
So if your reason not shared help you and is not something I did above, then please share. It might help. As for now, doing scan and repair as a precaution before getting back into game.
Side note:
It seems we may have level cap to meet before being able to unlock Tier 3 and 4. Sorc friend was 46, my Sorc was 35. He had lvl 38 toon complete capstone (with same help) and could not unlock tier 3. He is going for 40 to see if that is the magic number.
Confirmed:
My Sorc and friend Sorc hit 40. We then had the quest to go do cathedral capstone. Friend walked us through for a completion and was able to unlock tier 3. Now speculating have to be 60 to get quest for next capstone dungeon to unlock tier 4.
So now we have to get PL running capstone to 40. Unlock tier 3, then get PL running next capstone to 60 to unlock tier 4. Is now quickest way to unlock tier 4 now.
Please make sure and give us a heads up if that works.

What was the reason why because I have skipped campaign and done all the required things like armor gems potions and enchanting and tier three still won’t unlock even though I have completed the capstone with friends like 5 times
There may be a fix on this coming up. The other Sorc saw a tweet, so I can’t say with certainty if this is true or what exactly the fix will be. Keep a look out. But for now, 40 and 60 are the magic numbers.

Thx for that link. Looks like next hotfix/patch will put it back to no level requirement. Until then, enjoy Season 1 ( typing with a wry smile.) LOL
