It’d be awesome, if we could participate in the season without skipping campaign. I always skipped campaign, in order to jump into the season, but I’d love to actually do it once, while also doing the seasonal content. It’d also be a nice way to level and get experience, that isn’t just grinding helltides or nmd.
Also, I think regarding new players, it doesn’t seem like a good idea to put them in this dilemma between skipping campaign and participating in season.

New players have to play story first. You can skip story only if you did it once.

I think what he means is he wants to be able to play the season at the same time as he does the campaign. It would be a little weird in my view because the seasonal story takes place after the events of the campaign.

Having thought about it some more I wouldnt see why this would be a problem if weve already done it once. Previous diablo games had you repeating the campaign over and over. I wouldnt mind giving the campaign another go around in WT4 with helltides going on. That would be pretty cool.
We can skip it without having ever done it once. I did this in season 3. To this day I’ve never finished the campaign. This got added apparently in season 2.
Same, and I, in general, don’t see the problem of just letting people do the campaign, while doing the seasonal content too. There is no real downside to it imo.
I think if you have made it to Act 4 (where you get the horse) it will start allowing the skip.
no, the only requirement is doing the prologue according to source: Diablo 4 Campaign Skip Guide - Wowhead And also according to my own experience as well, because I literally skipped campaign on my first char.

The point of my post is asking Blizzard to allow us to participate in the season without using the campaign skip. Now, if you agree or disagree with that, you can let us know, since that’s the actual topic :')
You can. Just don’t click the “Skip Campaign” option when creating a new seasonal character.
Idk if you feel smart, when you type this, but have you considered that I tried that already? What makes you think that the action, where I encounter the problem, is the solution?
You can not participate in the season if you are playing the campaign. None of that unlocks unless you skip the campaign or finish the campaign.
You wanted to play the Campaign during the Season. OK, great, create a seasonal character, then go through the Campaign with your seasonal character and once you’re done with the Campaign you can move on to the seasonal theme.

But you can participate in the season without using the campaign skip, you just have to finish the campaign, if you don’t want to skip the campaign or get to the point where you can skip the campaign before you can do any of the things to go through the season requirements to finish the season but it’s not stopping you from rolling up a seasonal character and playing it either way
