Couldnt finish the door cause no ghouls spawned. I had to abandon the quest and now there is no way of restarting it. I wasted time doing all dungeons and sidequest to get a 100% map completion wich now i cant fullfill. When will you deliver a product that actually is 100% bug free. Never in my life have i seen a more useless company then blizzard. Took 10 hours of my time doing 4 maps to 100% and now hawezar side quest is bugged. Nice job. Pls just quit and let competent devs work on this game.
if a quest isn’t immediately available to pick up again after abandoning it, a relog usually fixes it. try visiting sev after you do
side note: relog also often fixes quest stages not working, try that before you abandon
i was the third out of a four quest chain. Its a dead chain now , meaning ill never get a 100% clear. I finished 4 maps and the fifth map all except the side quests. Not making a new char.
if you abandoned the quest you didn’t complete it, if you didn’t complete it you can start it again by finding the npc (not necessarily where you were at the time of abandoning but rather where the npc is by default in that world state) and you couldn’t have done the one after, so something you are saying doesn’t add up.
i’ve found ways of making all quests work, even the buggy ones so i’m trying to help, maybe you can explain in more detail.

i know but sev isnt there . I cant do anything at this point . The quest chain went dead . No way to restart it. I cant restart any of the 4 quests. All the hours i put into completing the rest was al for nothing. Just one big waste of time because of incompetent devs and their crappy bug fest every season.
you’ve also checked in/south of backwater where the previous quest took place then?
this is what i meant with giving more details, i understand you’re frustrated but you’ve given conflicting statements and weren’t exactly forthcoming
as a completionist myself, this would definitely annoy me a lot, but i do want to reassure you that you don’t need the 100% completion for anything other than, well, 100% completion
i checked the vendor in backwater for the cerrigar mead. Wasnt there . I went to Zarbinzet to see if i could restart To walk a dark path to start the chain again. Nothing. It went dead.
yeah there is no reason to assume you’d be able to grab any of the previous quests again, but you should definitely be able to grab this one again. just have to figure out where. i’ve def never had it that i can’t pick it up after abandoning, even within chains, as i said sometimes it required relogging and stuff.
I cant find Sev. I googled for her location but she only spawns in the mangrove snarl. But she isnt there anymore.
is mangrove snarl just south of backwater? where you talk to her in the last step of the previous quest?
- Tell Sev you’re ready to go - Speak to Sev again asking about the whereabouts of Elias and Symon. This completes the quest and will automatically begin the By Three They Come side quest.
just to eliminate this as a problem: you’re not in party with anyone and have relogged since being in someone else’s party?
i found her in esret on the otherside of the map close to vyeresz waypoint. Could restart the quest. lets see if it bugs out again.

as a last resort if you ever run into something like this again, can have someone else (with a new char if need be) invite you and start the quest chain from the beginning and accompany them, and in all likelihood it should give you credit once doing your missing quest for them.
you would expect here to be in the first place not in the second place she goes after you talk to her.
of course, clearly we both did, but failing that you gotta get creative as you did now

for anyone coming here with the same problem:
after abandoning this quest, Sev isn’t where you first obtained it near backwater, but you’ll find her in Esret (other side of the map close to Vyeresz waypoint, where you had to meet her in the first quest step), and can pick up the quest there again
