Like a few others this game wrecked my 4 month old 3080 TI, locking the computer up during a CS with Lilith’s petals and ramped my cards fans up for 20 seconds or so before it overvolted and burned out

Agree, get that crappy (Gigabyte I guess?) 3080Ti returned for full refund. No doubt about it. Crappy cards get burned, lesson learned.
Please google Gigabyte Diablo 4 … it’s a Gigabyte card issue. Also the TOS you agree to to play the beta specifically states Bliz is not responsible for your hardware. This is not the game’s issue, it’s Gigabytes’. Direct your venom towards their customer support.
Dear user, it’s not about the game, as they said above - it’s solely about your faulty video card. Your anger and emotions, direct them to those from whom you bought this thing and let you get your money back while you have a warranty on the goods.
ooooh, no it didnt, having a shoddy card is where your problem lies. Since its only 4 months old, maybe you can get a refund, and stay away from those trash 3080s.
Specifically 10:30 to 10:40 for those who just want it point blank no nonsense fed to them that its NOT the game.
The hardware designers should not allow their cards be pushed to failure at default. This is faulty websites, drivers, factory OC, or something else. The game cannot directly damage a properly limited card.
