I would drop Raiment in favor of a pure DR chest. I would also use Everliving and Snowguard aspects to take advantage of Blizzard and improve survivability.
With the buffed Mage Lord and Vyr Mastery, your Sorc’s survivability should be even better. (I will make a new video today without the hearts and use skulls instead)
Here’s some starter vids. I know this is S1 but just remove the hearts and replace with skulls.
No hearts vids (recorded weeks ago)
This is with hearts, but I am not using potions here in exchange but I didn’t die and most of the time I was fighting up close (no dropping of Hydras and hiding 10 screens away)
Skeptics and whiners claim this is only possible with Hydra. That’s incorrect but for the sake of argument, let’s accept it. If we do accept it, it means it’s possible to be tanky even in Eternal if all you need is Hydra. So even the whiners think there is a way. So someone with a good experience and folks who don’t, both agree that this is doable. I think that this should give you a boost of hope in Eternal.
Edit:
I am working on a new no hearts video today for Aug 28th.
Updates:
- I just did one with no hearts. It’s ridiculously even easier now than when I did it first.
- I only died once and it shouldn’t had happened. I felt the game cheated on me. It would had been a perfect run. I’ll share the video later because it’s still being processed by YouTube as of this moment.
- Here’s the first video. The vid quality is still low because YouTube is still processing the higher quality version but this should give you an idea. There is a second video in Forgotten Ruins (Corpse Bows and Serpents)
More Updates:
- 3x NM 100 straight runs with no hearts

questions :
- why are you using Ice blade and Lightning Spear ? It make no dps for me. It’s just to apply vulnerability ?
- fire ball in enchantement is realy usefull ?
I just drop an Oculus, and now I can do nm 90+ spaming tp, but I wondering what to replace TP in enchantement with … fire wall… CD too long, fire ball, hydra, frost nova, …?
Ice Blades and Lightning Spear adds DPS when paired with Conjuration Mastery. By themselves they also do dmg if you’re spec into cold or lightning more. If you have Ice Blades as enchantment and have the L Spear aspect, you can even increase the active number of Conjurations for extra DPS. So if you have 7 active Conjurations (3 groups of hydras, 2 ice blades, and 2 L Spear) that is 7x6 = 42% extra DPS.
Ice Blades triggers Vulnerability too and lessens the CD on your Cooldown Skills. It also applies Cold Damage so if you need triple elements, this is a good one to use too.
Light Spear applies stuns and it’s quite important for a Conjurer. It allows you to CC ahead even before entering a room. You’d be surprised how much stun it does.
You can make it work without Ice Blades and L Spear. I have done that too. But these two along with Hydra for my build is quite efficient. It’s a solid system.
Both there skills also helps me trigger my Prodigy quickly because it needs cooldown type skills to trigger the aspect.
Fireball is deadly when clearing mobs. If you do it like the way I do it, once you kill one or two, it becomes a chain reaction. In S1, it’s even more interesting.
You can always replace the enchantments with Frozen Orb, Fire Bolt, Frozen Nova, Ice Blades. I have tried them all. They all work and really just depends on your taste. But for me, Fireball is the fastest way to clear mobs. It’s useless against bosses though.
I would go for Hydra enchantment to replace that TP enchantment. Hydra adds a lot of DPS. Three Hydra groups is stronger than two Hydra groups.

Do you have a link to that build on Maxroll?
Loving to see you are doing eternal builds aswell
p.s Would you say in your experience that the above build is the best out of all of your eternal builds?
I do like the look of it, looks fast and fun, my kinda gameplay.
Yep that’s this one (just take out the hearts)
Part 2: Vyr Conjurer with Blizzard
maxroll.gg/d4/planner/os100vvt#9
So far this one seems to be the best I have for eternal. Last time I did this I felt I was less tankier with less damage (though I completed the dungeon, the playing experience wasn’t fun).
But now I feel I am tankier and doing more damage too considering I don’t have hearts.
You could probably swap some aspects if you want more DPS. Sometimes it really depends on the dungeon.

What level NMD’s drop item level 820 items? I cant seem to get any but havent gone past NMD 75
I think it’s just rng. For weapons I am ok with 800+. I get a lot of 800+ but most have bad stats for my build
I got lucky with a really good rolled wand with Item level 816, but have not seen anything higher than that. I have a source at 815 but its 3 good stats with one throw away.
Thanks for that link…Going by that link with Maxroll is there anything you would change or are they the attributes you have but don’t want…if you get what i mean.
Example, Dexterity, is that intentional or it’s just what you have?
It’s partly intentional and partly just what I have. When I adjust my paragon board, sometimes I need that extra Dex. I got alt gear where I don’t need that extra dex for my Paragon.
Edit:
Here’s another recent vid
No hearts and No potions. Same build and dungeon with 100% Damage to Barriers (deadly against Temerity)
I finaly finished a T100 after realizing that I can remove 4 skills point to TP with Oculus and put then on some passives buff.
I update the 1rst post.
Hydra on enchantement is good.
Have fun !

I am following as I would like to go conjurer on the next sorcerer, I just want to add that lightning spear is able to stun entire rooms (bug?!?) and if you invest in the Elettrocution passive gives you another layer of defence for high Nmd pushing as well, I am using it on a Blizzard build
It stuns more than what I expect it to be but definitely it doesn’t stun always and not the whole room
Yes that was an overstatement but I was surprised when I tried it first, I had low expectations. To get those skill points anyway I have to drop ranks in Frozen Orb (or Ice shards, depending on which enchantment I am running) so it becomes a trade between safety and damage, it shines in 80+ NMDs
