Same experience here. Pre expansion until shutdown I ran medium to max settings slight issues. Now I just rubber band. I can’t even log out without failure every time.
From the moment Lilith was supposed to drop a spark it’s been bugged for every single season since this became a thing and it also applies to S6… I think programmers are actual chimps!
Sadly it is the bugs and crashes after this latest “patch” I focus on. It completely destroys enjoyment or even potential of giving any quality review of the expansion.
We should have expected this when minutes before launch they had to delay it to “fix” problems. Then delivered an update massive enough to negate the two already pre-downloaded content.
I have two characters in this season due to one character becoming nothing more than a bricked tempered item. The second character was given the name BlizCodeSux…

I NEVER had a crash with diablo 4 before the expansion.
Now it crashes randomly every 1-2 hour.

I agree with you no crashes and before the launch of the expansion I had no FPS drops.
The memory leak should be fixed as soon as possible.
I am experiencing severe FPS drops because D4 is using up all the RAM.
I have now gone so far as to use the “Wise Memory Optimizer” and set it to clear the RAM/standby memory every 5 minutes in full load mode and also defragment the RAM.
This helps immensely and makes gaming much more enjoyable.
However, this is only an emergency solution and definitely not a permanent solution.
I was able to change the freeze crashes by switching from DX12_2 to dx11_1, but I can’t say for sure if that helps with them.

Along with the memory leak, today I got corrupted save error.
They allocated all their resources to massacre what they’ve build in the last two seasons and none to debug the coding. That’s Blizz no 1 priority, cutting all the fun, not testing, debugging and stabilizing the game.
Furthermore, they didn’t even acknowledge this, a lot of people are feeling that it’s the fault of their own hardware.
Risky attitude nowadays for an AAA company. I am at my patience limit.

It usually takes me two tries just to start game now lol it hangs/freezes before character select (sometimes get this downloading data screen) usually have to kill exe in task manager and retry, if i turn off cross play the world is empty (love that) but if i have it on to play with my one d3 friend who has the setting on (who has way more issues with the game they are always talking about needing to reboot their pc non-stop due to some memory leak in battlenet or d4) i get horrible performance, stutter and lag spikes that would kill me if i was on hc which im smart enough not to play after major updates/expansions i haven’t had any ctd’s till yesterday opening the timed rift thing in Kurast after changing difficulty i really loved the game till this update which says a lot since i really don’t like d2 all that much. sorry about grammar ect never took keyboarding classes or anything like that.

Game hard reboots my PC every hour or so. Never had that before the xpac. Anyone found a solution to this?
i’ve never crashed these many times in diablo and i enjoy this game but god damn this new xpan just ripped my heart out i can not complete a certain quest cause it just crashes everytime , locks up my whole pc . tried everything on my end to keep it from happening and nothing
