It appears that my character’s level is being misreported, which is preventing me from masterworking level 60 gear. Despite having full Paragon progression (level 240) and high-level Ancestral gear equipped, the masterworking option remains unavailable.
There was a syncing or server issue on Thursday that forcibly disconnected me from the game. It’s possible that my character’s data did not update properly or was partially rolled back during that event.
Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
But you really don’t know, correct? I doubt it was rolled back, and as far as updated, it more likely would have corrupted somehow.
Are you having an issue with a specific piece of gear? Have you tried replacing said piece of gear?
I had a ring at one point that would not masterwork or do anything despite being at a level it should have. I replaced it with another and moved on. That was the only option at the time. I suggest you do the same.
I’m going to do my best to explain the issue, even without an image attached.
No matter which character I use, I’ve lost the ability to masterwork amulets, rings, and weapons. This issue persists even after creating a brand new character—I still can’t masterwork any of their weapons or gear.
My existing characters that already have masterworked weapons still retain those items, but I can’t masterwork any new weapons, amulets, or rings on any character. My current Paragon level is 242.
Please note: when I select the masterworking option, my weapons turn a shadowy, dark color, as if they’re grayed out and unavailable.
As part of my troubleshooting, I loaded an Eternal Realm character, and they do still have the ability to masterwork items. I also deleted the cache from my Xbox hard drive, but the issue persists, so I can only assume the latest update or patch may have corrupted something on the server side for my seasonal characters.
If there’s a way for me to add a photo, I’d be happy to provide a screenshot to help illustrate the issue.
Please let me know if there’s something I might be missing, or if this is a known bug.
