This is my point. That basically means that every single season from here on will have some BS that absolutely nukes the game and they will never attempt to balance anything over the fear of angering the mob.
As I said, the future doesn’t look good if this is what the norm will be. Y’all gave Blizzard PTSD.
Problem is not the over performing builds and believe me LB is not the only one. Problem is the garbage builds. And a whole lot of those garbage builds were because of posts just like this demanding nerfs.
Take iceshards/nova build. Was never the most powerful build was always a fast NM build though. But because blizzard was nerfed so many times it is now absolutely useless as single target damage. Yet blizzard still remains a very viable and powerful build.
All this constant calling for nerfs has done is make us have less builds not more.
Bl sorc is overperforming by alot. It hits too often. Maybe its a bug. Maybe its not. Not important. I think it is a bug and needs fixing. And Yes other builds are busted too. Lets fix them all up and buff others!
When 99% of sorcs are BL its a problem.
I talked to a firewall sorc once. He said it was op in pvp. Oh what the!!
Interesting spin on things, but completely false. How can I say that so easily? Because you’re calling it a nerf. I’m not saying to nerf anything. I’m saying to keep things balanced, and yes… obviously that means that some numbers need to be brought down. On the flip side some numbers need to be brought up too… you know… keep the game balanced.
You think that burning a World Boss so quickly the entire server lags out is a good thing? Then you turn around and complain that there’s “no end game” just because you copy pasted the most broken, overpowered build you could find.
Sorry, kid… nerfs didn’t make less builds viable. The gap between the overpowered builds and the rest are what make many builds “not viable”, because if you’re not one shotting you’re not doing it right. AMIRITE?

First of all son I was born before you mother most likely. And lb kills a boss fast. But a barb can straight out one shot it which is more powerful?
Lag is not because the boss dying so fast. It is because LB hits so much on those big hitbox bosses because you stand inside them and every lighting hits multiple times.
Both overperforming and needs nerf or everyone else buffed. BL also protects you as every monster gets instantly stunned as well. I run fists of fate cause 290% roll (never got good rare glove) and I daze and immobile too. Its hilarious to see boss blue bar fill in 1second.
I run a Shako and a spear in a totally different kind of build. And can tell you the class if very powerful. But that power you see on those world bosses is not really how the class performs normally.
But can also tell you I can run a t100 just as fast as iceshard/nova build. The only hang up is the boss takes awhile.
If they nerf things mid season, I’ll uninstall and never play again. Simple as that. Blizzard is already henoraging paying customers. Pissing off the remaining few isn’t worth OP’s rage bait.

3 months isn’t long. I’ll pay to play each season. Leave things alone and let the players have their fun. Also if you’re having issues, switch to Linux. It runs better on Linux.

-Hard agree.
-There are actually BETTER sorc builds than Ball Lightning but they’re not on maxroll, icy veins or wowhead so they don’t get the huge crowd of people instantly picking them up.
-Look, it’s trite and childish and I even rolled a ball sorc for a bit this season but I am laughing like mad destroying everything before the ball lightning sorc can even get to it in time since they are limited by range.
Meteor is so much more powerful with the right gear. I was struggling to stay alive at 70 on wt4. Switched to metreor and er mer gerd. I 1 shot things from across the map. The game kept giving me meteor gear.
Fixing Bugs is Not nerfing, Not that hard to understand
Barb is broken cause These incompetent devs couldnt do the maths of their Balance changes…BL ist bugged, AS is rogue/tibault Interaction, AS is decompose Skill…Bugs need to get fixed…No Second opinions on this…you all wanted broken helltides fixed cause a Bug caused IT to Not Spawn properly…No U r advocating against fixing other Bugs cause they actually benefit the Player?! Says a Lot about you Guys tbh…
It’s not a bug. And they’re doing the right thing by letting it stay in for the season. Just like any other ARPG developer would do.

You can deny IT all U want…IT IS a tested and confirmed Bug…thats facts… Bugs need to get fixed… leaving IT in the Game has far deeper consequences than balancing issues…but kiddos in fear their beloved toy gets talent away will never understand that…btw Nobody hinders Blizzard to give BL a buff after fixing Said Bug…If they actually want IT to overperform 99% of all other builds …they can do that in a Heartbeat…Nobody would be Mad If they explained IT…but staying dead silent Not acting on a Well known Bug actually Puts a Bad light in them as a company… btw Bugs cause Bugs …Not fixing them does more harm than good
If they Fix BL Sorc, then they Have to fix all other “broken builds” too. With that being said, they’ll more then likely have more upset people then ever.
Remember, these people (at least a good amount, like myself) have spent hours upon hours… maybe days of getting Gear to compliment what we were striving for,…and then to have that Taken away because of Blizzards incompetence?
That’s not fair at all to the Player/consumer.
Next season , should be the season to Nerf/fix anything that was a problem in This season. I’m enjoying my BL Sorc, I don’t want them taking that away.
As a suggestion , if anybody has an issue with all of this maybe they should turn off cross platforming.
