Yeah it is nice to buff underused skills but you got them on par with cold sorc …
Ok good…
But the main problem stays sorcs best build (which is still cold tbh) was underpowered
And İT İS STİLL UNDERPOWERED
SO WTF İS THİS SORC BUFF

Quality of Life buffs that don’t address the real issues the sorcerer has.
Doesn’t matter how long the list of buffs seams, they are mostly insignificant and leave the sorc in the same place , as the other classes also got buffs so everybody moves up a bit which leaves the sorc still in last place.
The devs literally said in the last (or maybe the one before that) dev chat that they are scared to buff anything significant because they don’t know the backend formulas.
They tweak anything too much and then all of a sudden druids are able to do 80 billion damage hits (is that still a thing btw? been away for a week or so).
Then why keep nerfing it then
With nerf to cc dmg
Boost boss health etc
… hope they give this thing to vicariois visions whi then MAYBE get this stuff sorted out
what quality of life buffs is sorc receiving? compared to necro/druid/rogue the quality of life for this class is basically non existent to the point where it feels like the devs are actually just trolling with how they’ve designed it.
the pathetic “buffs” in 1.1.1 did nothing (it was actually a massive nerf because they doubled boss hp), the sorc class is rubbish level 50+, if you want to play sorc end game you need to roll a bone spear necro.
the devs have abandoned sorc.
Nah, it is other classes who just have builds that are overpowered. Those builds should instead be nerfed.
What?
I watched the whole thing and I never heard them say this. They made those formulas. This is not like Diablo 2 where the game is full of a convoluted mess of code over 20 years old.
What I think you’re referring to is they’re afraid of the meta shifting and things becoming too powerful, only for them to have to nerf.
I suspect that all classes fulfill a role.
If only the D4 devs supported the ability to group with other people that you think might be compatible with your goals (which can shift over time), instead of relying on out of game methods.
On the other hand. I started D4 with about 7 other people, which was great fun and hugely powerful when the game was released.
When Season 1 was released, most of them disappeared. Edited Note: who knew that cosmetic rewards were not worth the effort? Everybody, except the devs, although I suspect some newbs would be excited about getting malignant hearts long before they can find legendary aspects.
I completely understand why. They already have our money, and so have no need to keep us.
They need “Fresh Meat!” instead. For those who don’t know what I mean by that:
