I have encountered a bug where it is impossible to complete the purple healing potion upgrade quest. It looks like I am not the only one, please see this reddit post where it has been reported by others.
As the OP describes, it is quite unsettling to have an incompleteable quest.
I have the same bug , Blizz make it go away .
The lack of a way to have in game tickets makes reporting these a pain .
Same problem here. It might be because I leveled this character on the Eternal Realm as part of the Brilliant Boost event.
Same issue, I also upgraded crit to lvl 50.

Did the superior potion upgrade at LVL 60 but the quest won’t go away! Blizzard please address this bug! Thx
Same problem. I have just reached level 60 with my second character and went to upgrade my potions without having this quest tracked. Now it won’t disappear from Journal.
Just adding to the post list with the hopes of getting some Blizz attention. Like others, I used the Fated Reliquary to boost a new sorc to lvl 50 and now I can’t complete the “Healing Potion Upgrading” quest. Furthermore (and as someone else already mention), upgrading to the Greater Healing Potion at lvl 60 did not count toward the quest either.
It’s not the biggest deal as it doesn’t seem to affect anything else (thus far), however, it is a bit distracting to have an uncompleted “Priority Quest” constantly on the map/journal. Hoping a fix is in our futures.
Having the same issue. Actually I didn’t use any boost, my only character got level 50 automatically even though I hadn’t logged into the game for months.
I hope this bug will be fixed and this quest will finally disappear from the map and task list.

Healing Potion Upgrade will not complete. I have upgraded to lvl 10 heal potion and it is checked as complete in the list but the quest will not clear from log nor will the quest icon clear from map
