[Bug] Unable to retrieve necessary data

For what it matters, this is not happening in the seasonal realm. But when I play with a sorcerer character in the eternal realm, I’m getting destroyed by this error. The game crashes every 30-40 min. because of it.

EDIT 1: It’s happening everywhere - seasonal and eternal. I can confirm that opening the inventory triggers it.

Fenris Crash. Don't know how to fix. Please help

Just started happening to me. picked up some garbage in a NMD. opened inventory to get rid of it -boom- crash. now, when I log back into the game, if I try to open the inventory…crash. fenris spat out 280 crashes in the log. also, the bnet 2fa app is sending out like 4 requests to my phone when I want to log into the forums. this has been happening for awhile (with the bnet app i’m uninstalling it. not worth getting spammed with requests that do not give codes, then the forum tries to log me in…

Constant Fenris crashes since 1.4.3

I started getting crashes(280+ hits in the Fenris log) as well. game was stable for me since the betas until yesterday. Fenris Crash. Don't know how to fix. Please help - #4 by Graveslave-1131 the only thing that seems to have worked as a band aid, for me…was installing the HD Rez Texture Pack. I too as well as you did everything I could. Even ran stress tests. it’s not on my end and probably not on yours as well. when the game was doing whatever it was doing…it was telling me to check my netw…

it looks like Blizz enabled a debugger or something when opening up inventory.
it is hammering my CPU but i’ve not had crashes.
check your temps/clock speeds on your CPU/GPU.
also update drivers etc etc

Streamer mode is disabled. Cross-network communication as well.
CPU and GPU are indeed going crazy when the inventory window or merchant UI is open. And this has been the case ever since alpha.
Hopefully, this debugger you’re talking about means that they’re finally going to do something about it.

I am only guessing at that. I can’t say that 100% there is a debugger running in the background but I can say that something is 100% taxing my system when I open up the inventory. it was not doing this before (when I was getting the crashes/made those post)
if you can’t get it worked out there are various band-aids to try. the only one I didn’t try was deleting localprefs.txt

Game Freezes/Crashes GPU fans screaming when opening specific UI Elements - June 2023

Fixed - Randomly Updated to hi-res texture pack last night and made no difference to my experience… however… have been playing WoW all day, logged over to D4 tonight and everything is buttery smooth! There were no updates that I know of so not sure what it was exactly that fixed it. 3080 going to 77 temp at main menu and maxing fans [didn't happen in last beta]

Even in main menu my fans are nearly maxing and temps are getting to 76+, didn’t happen at all last beta and before you reply blaming the system like you do to every post, I assure you its not. When the menu takes more resources than the actually game, there is an issue lol. Stop telling everyone its their system and fix the issues.
