BUG: Secluded Grotto Dungeon Enemies Remaining

I did the Secluded Grotto dungeon and I’m stuck on 1 enemy remaining. There’s a way I can’t get passed that typically opens when the enemies in the current (first) section are dead. I’ve run around the dungeon twice and found no enemies, but I think The Butcher spawned on the other side of the wall and it’s counting as a remaining enemy. I can’t get a visual but the sounds it’s making are very Butcher-esque. Not sure if it’s relevant but I was trying to do a Tree of Whispers quest for the dungeon.

Same here too just tried to complete for tree of whispers. Stuck at 1 remaining and there aren’t any enemies left. Went through the dungeon like 4 times, exited and entered again, nothing. :roll_eyes:

Finishing my last remining side dungeons, I came upon the same problem. No “butcheresque” sounds from the other side for me though …
Thought eff it, and started the dungeon again. Same result :thinking:
So one is a coincidance, two a mystery … let’s see if it becomes a pattern.

Same thing has happened to me although I don’t hear any butcher. Seems like a general bug for the dungeon?

Same, no Butcher though. Map shows a goblin on other side of wall, this is last enemy.

Same here, no hint of a remaining foe

I’m having this problem as well. I’m trying to finish out the last bit of renown I need for the Dry Steppes and I figured, might as well get some grim favors while I’m at it. I circled the dungeon for twenty minutes, and no sign of the missing enemy. Definitely a bug.

Same here - i can clearly see The Butcher on the other side of the wall. It’s a pretty old bug, maybe they should fix this? :slight_smile:

Happened to me as well. We had a Butcher encounter and a treasure goblin spawned on the other side of the locked wall. He was the last enemy. Hitting him with Lightning Spear helped, fortunately.

Just killed everything in Bedeviled Grotto (malignant). However, I’m told “Slay Alicanthe, Malignant Serpent”, but the wall/barrier won’t go down. I’ve tried porting out. No change.

Still an issue. Was hoping this would be fixed with patch 1.4, but nope.
