[BUG] [Quest] [Head of the Snake][Might Be Solved? Maybe?]

Conditions: WT4, Barbarian, Seasonal (s5) Character, Windows 10, Diablo IV Live Version.

I’ve attempted to do this quest once, ran into the issue. Then completely restarted the game, logged out of Battle.net, logged back in a few minutes later to attempt the quest again, still ran into the same bug that is PREVENTING me from further progressing into the questline. Here is the main problem:

Every time I get up to the point where I get to the “pillar” sub-area, right when the NPC “Asa” says the following scripted line:

“No door, no opening… Take the medallion, there must be something.”

Then everything just stops ‘working as intended’ and nothing further happens, leaving me locked into place and unable to proceed with the quest.

Edit#1:

Additionally, I will note that on my second attempt to do this, I manually went into my quest log beforehand to force “Abandon Quest” in order to pick it up from the Iron Wolves Encampment again for my 2nd try.

However i still ran into the same bug.

Edit #2: on both of my attempts, there was NO ‘medallion’ type quest item that appeared in my quest item inventory. Nothing appeared, nothing happened.

Edit #3: I manually forced reset the quest again and things finally were able to work as intended and I eventually completed this quest. WARNING: The following information is total speculation and may not be accurate:

I am assuming that the reason I was able to finally do this quest and have the cave door show up and be interactable was because I’m guessing that one of the other active quests that used to be in my quest log on my prior failed attempts was somehow buggily interfering with this quest. I am only guessing it was one of the quests that were associated with one of the overworld STRONGHOLDS i.e. one of those quests that are only accessible to take up once you’ve completed a stronghold. It might have been the Malnok one that has you go get the ‘Grizzly Maul’ or perhaps some other quest. Just conjecturing.
