When opening a menu like the Map while in-game, “New” orange Exclamation Marks persist on both the Map and Quest section, along with the Shop sections, and selecting/clicking them and other items does not remove the Exclamation Mark.

After selecting a character and starting a game in D4, pressing the “M” key opens a map with a menu bar on the top of the page. There is a persistent orange Exclamation Mark (!) next to the Map and Shop section (Main issue). When selecting the Map section it leads to Quests, a menu box on the right side of the screen, of which there is a similar orange Diamond icon showing your current quests on the left-center side of the menu box. The Quest box also has a menu at the top with multiple orange Diamond icons, over both the Campaign and Feature/Event sections.

Selecting the yellow Campaign icon (with the orange Diamond) shows your current campaign quest, and selecting the quest and then somewhere else on the screen removes the orange Diamond icon from both the quest and the Campaign icon, which I believe is the expected behavior. However, this is not the case with the purple Feature/Event quests section. I have multiple “purple” quests, and none of them have the orange Diamond icon next to them. Subsequently, selecting all of them and then other things does not remove any Diamond icon, which keeps the Diamond icon on the purple Feature/Event quests section, which keeps the Diamond icon on the left side of the Quests box, which seems to keep the Exclamation Mark on the Maps. I have checked Rewards, Collections, etc. and can find no other source/orange icons.

While the Shop is at the top menu bar in every instance of the game, it too can be found pressing the “M” key (which opens the map with a menu bar on the top of the page), where there is also a persistent orange Exclamation Mark (!) next to the Shop section. Selecting the Shop section does not remove the Exclamation Mark.

While inside the shop, there seems to be a similar issue to the purple quests section, where none of the four tabs of the shop (Cosmetics, Add Ons, Platinum, and Expansions) have an orange Diamond icon next to them, nor does any item inside any of the four tabs. Selecting every item inside every tab, including all the new and featured Cosmetics like the “Recommended For You” and “Champions of Silver City,” did not cause the Exclamation Mark to be removed from the Shop section of the top menu.
Apologies for the long bug report. I’m attempting to return to D4 after hearing some good things about the upcoming season, and this glitch in the Eternal Realm is bugging me to no end! 
To tell the truth, this is enough to get me to drop the game again, as you open menus like the map constantly. Even a change like the Exclamation Marks being fixed but the orange Diamond inside Quests (and added inside tabs in the Shop) becoming persistent would be enough of a bandaid fix.
