Bug dungeon Mithering Descent (threads of envy quest)

Hello,
I finished the threads of envy quest but the mithering descent dungeon still appears on the map in blue, I can still enter it but nothing happens.
Isn’t he supposed to disappear after you finish the quest?

Same here dungeon still accessible with an invincible Sodden Effigy at the end of it.

Even if the quest is ended with the achievement “A sodden pact” with “Threads of Envy” check…

Same here… and i think this is the quest that is also bugged my achievement… cuz i am at 99.99% from completing everything in act 2… missing 1 quest to finish it, and i am pretty sure i got all the other stuff done/found

I have experienced this as well. Thread of Envy quest is bugged. After defeating the sodden effigy in the mithering descent dungeon the quest npc leaves but after exiting the dungeon the dungeon remains on the map and is highlighted blue still. Reentering the dungeon shows the effigy still alive and unkillable.

I am having the same issue post mission completion.

Still bugged. Still an issue. 99.9% complete in Scosglen besides this quest.

Hey guys, I have 47/47 side quests in Scosglen, but my Mithering Descent is bugged. So you might be missing another quest.

I’m 45/47, I’ve spent all day meticulously going through the quest list trying to figure out what I’m missing and I’ve come up short. I also have a bugged Mithering Descent, but where are these 2 missing quests, I’ve gone over all the drop area four times over for kills and corpses.

SAME!! Its really annoying. The questline is completed, but the dungeon with invincible boss is present on the map. Blizz fix plz!

I have tried and checked everything I could think of and I cannot make it ‘complete’

Did anyone find a solution/workaroud?

Got the same problem, it still shows up in blue. But I don’t remember if I actually completed the quest or if I should go there and kill the boss (now I can’t even because of the bug, invincible boss).

Same issue here. I think I remember the quest complete celebration played after clearing it the first time, but the icon never vanished and going there again will have the invincible boss at the end of it… Hopefully this get fixed in an upcoming patch…

Still less annoying that the quest in the desert where the go into the cave to kill the barbarians / cannibals and the gal at the start does her speech but doesn’t usually go to attack the wall and trigger the proper assault in the cave… Swear it took me 17 reloads of the cave at various times till it magically worked and the chick and her troops actually went to the barricade and destroyed it… Otherwise I would never have gotten the fury against fate achievement…

Mortiferius, I had the same problem with that quest too. But I read somewhere that you should clear the event outside, then enter the dungeon fast, then start the conversation, and then run towards the barricade fast before the conversation with the npc was over :slight_smile:

This problem bothers me as well. Mithering Descent is blue, however there is no quest npc at Enetral Watch.
