[BUG] Cormond missing, cannot progress seasonal questline

As the title says, I am supposed to speak with Cormond outside of Zarbinzet for A Prayer for Salvation. As soon as I approach the area, the marker disappears and Cormond is nowhere to be seen. I am now stuck and unable to progress this questline at all. Others in the area are having the same problem.

I have similar issue, he dissapeared for me after I killed echo of varshan. There is no table where i can craft hearts or invokers. Game restart did not help.

EDIT: Found him in Kyovashad city on the left side of the waypoint

I have the same concern I’m looking for ruins of faith and the NPC has disappeared, I’ve looked everywhere and can’t see it… I’ve been looking for my nothing for some time… (Dsl for my English, I’m French)

I had the same problem. I changed from world tier 3 to world tier 2 at the login screen and There he was. So try that.

no, I also tested and nothing worked, the problem is that we can’t even abandon the quest to be able to resume it…

I am experiencing this same bug but in the follow Cormand portion. I agree with OP on a reset mission button for mains to resolve this problem and any others like it.

Same issue. Not on the quest journal portion either.

Bump. Anyone find out the issue here ? I created another character and the seasonal questline is available.

This is a pretty big problem.

It has made a lot of the season seem like a waste of time. We can not get the guaranteed wrathful from varshan nor craft his invoked.

Creating an entire new character to get this is a big undertaking for a casual player and that assumes the same bug won’t reoccur. Blizzard- please help!

I do not see a reset campaign button anymore. Was this removed with the latest patch? I can reset dungeons but resetting the campaign is not longer possible. Perhaps this was done to prevent people from farming varshan for many wrathfuls without competing ?

Varshan is not in the campaign, so a reset campaign button would not help…

Also:

  • Fixed an issue where players could repeatedly fight Varshan during the final Seasonal quest by resetting the Dungeon where he spawns.

Same issue here, fix this …

I came across this issue. It seems like you are expected to have completed the seasonal questline while still in WT1 or WT2. It seems Blizzard didn’t consider that some people - especially those who replayed the campaign - might not get to this point until WT3. Try switching back to WT2 and he should be there.

This should either be fixed so he appears in WT3+ or the quest text should be updated to prompt you to return to earlier world tiers.
