Bug Cannot Left Click / Controller A on Login screen

Nothing seems to be wrong with my mouse or controller anywhere except for logged into D4. I can launch the game, can’t skip the cinematic splash, I can move my mouse over characters and it detects the movement, but I cannot click to confirm and actually login to the game. I tried using the controller to get past the issue but the confirm (A button) does nothing either. After a while of trying to get a click to register, I have to kill the task in task manager (which registers my mouse clicks just fine)

Edit: Already tried uninstall/reinstall. Still no change after.
Edit2: Having the controller plugged in seems to create some kind of conflict here. Unplugged it and was able to click. Plugged it back in while in-game and no issue. Strange bug.

Had this issue, couldn’t press A or X on anything in the menus or in the inventory. Here’s what I found online and worked for me: To get into the options screen, unplug the controller then the left click should work again. Don’t remember if I plugged the controller back in here, or navigated to the controller menu before doing so, but get to the controller bindings menu, and have the controller plugged in. Clear the Attack/Interact use same button box, then bind one of them to A. Save the changes. Then recheck the box and save the changes. This fixed it for me.
