After salvaging a legendary to upgrade an aspect, I am unable to imprint the aspect over the item with the old (lower) value.
Example: I have a bloodied legendary ring with the Paladin Lagera’s Sovereignty aspect applied with “Your Disciple Skills deal 40% increased damage.” I just salvaged an item that upgraded this aspect to 55% increased damage. When I try to imprint the newly upgrade aspect from the Codex of Power, the value is still 40%. When hovering my mouse pointer over the Codex of Power box it does show 55% is what will be imprinted but below that is a warning that says “Applied to another equipped item” in red text. I do not have this aspect on any other equipped items. I even tried removing all my gear and the error is still there.
I would add screen shots here but I don’t know how to do that. I have had this problem a few times with other aspects over the past 24 hours or so since I started playing S12, leveling up a new Wings Strike Paladin.
UPDATE: I tried imprinting the upgraded aspect onto a different ring and it worked. The bug only applies when trying to overwrite the same aspect on an item that was already imprinted with a lower value of that aspect.

Yes, just went to override my old level of Ursine Horror on my boots because they are currently .5 and the new one I have scrapped is 1.05 but in the preview window it still shows .5. If I put these on new boots it uses the 1.05.
All imprints are currently applying at lowest values it seems

Not all of them, but it seems that a lot of them are.
But for example my sorc Flash Fire Aspect seems to be applying properly. Or at least, the imprint % is correct on my tooltip. As opposed to my Shredding Blades that shows minimum %
Edit: Based on what others mentioned, I tried imprinting a different aspect onto my offhand and then apply Shredding Blades again, but it is still showing the lowest imprint %. So I think the bug is more than just not overwriting the same imprint.
This is ridiculous that it is not being addressed! What is the point of having upgraded aspects if we can’t use them.

its not a bug. non-ancestral bloodied items can only have the lowest aspect version.
I’m experiencing this bug too.
Blizzard hasn’t said anything about it and it makes no sense that it would be intended. It makes equipping non-ancestral bloodied gear a nerf on bosses where it doesn’t activate.
How is this still bugged? It makes the seasonal items feel like total garbage until you get to ancestral.

I’m getting all imprints on 750 bloodied gear at min value irrespective of whether it’s the first imprint or an upgrade. 800 bloodied works normally.
Getting the same bug here.
