While in a non-nightmare dungeon, my party member and I were in separate areas. He entered into the boss fight at the end of the dungeon without me, and I was teleported into the boss fight from where ever I was in the dungeon. This happens every time, in every dungeon. I’m intentionally trying to avoid the boss fight but the game is teleporting me into the boss fight. Very frustrating.
This happens in our party, too. Except I’m (Sorc) the only one that ever gets teleported to the boss it seems… This is really annoying.

This happened to me yesterday all day, but in Nightmare dungeons. Usually to boss fight, but once it also tp-ed me to a random fight, but yeah always to the first person to get into boss area, so it seems.

Really? This still isn’t addressed despite a major “patch” tomorrow for changes and a massive bug like this is still rampant?!

today I found out this still happens lol. I thought it was fixed, but I switched to Sorc and it happened again xD
Yeah… It’s actually still a thing. Wish they would at least acknowledge this is an issue and whether or not they can fix it (Assuming they can’t since it has been noted numerous times and they have had major patches and a season to fix)

Middle of season 2 and still happening. I can’t believe this hasn’t been fixed.
I’ve found a possible cause at the D2 JSP forum that makes the most sense: The party wide ability.
If you are using an enchanted ability that is party wide (Fire Ball for example) you are actively participating in instanced event fights and there is an very high chance that you are going to teleport because of it.
This is why only sorcs are affected. My friend as been powerleveled without any problems and had only the fire shield for survivability.
I already tested it for a couple of hours right now if this is the case and it seems like it.
Its still happening on season 3 for me. Seems to be tied to Staff of Endless Rage. As soon as I equip it I’m sucked into the boss room. Take it off and it doesn’t happen. Come on Blizzard. Could that possible why its called that??? Cause the effect makes you rage…
nope i dont use that staff and it happens to me still
its fireball enchantment not an item. unequip fireball from the enchantment slot. problem solved
This still on going issues? I playing sorc in season 3 and still pull me when I’m in the boss fight.
