This has been mentioned before. Its hard to justify a 40% increase, which is only 10-15% more damage than most offensive aspects, but requires no defensives on bar and PROBABLY more DR on gear.
Its just hard to justify it, even if doing a glass cannon build. Buff it to 60-80%.
And if you are worried that it would be too OP with a staff, change tenuous to a utility aspect.
this aspect could work with incinerate build as this build emphasizes of tankiness while standing still. whether to drop flameshield/ ice armor in exchange for this extra damage is really up to individual.
on the other hand, i think rogue could utilise this aspect well when they achieved 100% dodge chance.
The problem isnt the power level, thats fine. The real problem is its missing archetype support. These tenous builds dont have enough active skills that are desirable together for a working 6 Skill Build. They should make Teleport only a mobility skill, and we can talk tenous builds, until that happens its just plain bad. Also synergies with different mana spenders need to be established first, there isnt enough here as well.
I mean… it’s probably called “tenuous” for good reason!
