We want to hit hard with our core skills. Not frilly stuff like earthquakes and tornadoes. Core skill damage.

This is what I just said to my forum stalker/harasser. You know the one. I said more EQ nerf isn’t a problem, but redistribute that power somewhere. Like core skills for example.

We will have to see the patch notes, but it does seem like they have this in mind. There are some builds that overperform so much that buffing the core skill isnt necessary to “bring it line.” They did mention tweaks to aspects and keystones will result in buffed skills to compensate.

Personally i think overpower nerfs are very welcome. It just had too many advantages. You stack a lot of life, become pretty much immortal, and hit like a truck.
id sit it out and wait for the patch notes tho. no point in trying to go for factual talks just yet.

It does depend on individual builds. I have 2 out of 3 of those things.
There is the chance they wake up and buff core skills in the patch notes but they didn’t mention it in this campfire.

yea we will have to wait and see really. Not against slight comparison buffs myself - but we also dont know how the new powers will affect us etc, so yea. Time to chill and drink some tea 
Lets also not forget that jewels come back for our jewelry. I was hoping there would be a permanent solution to that after s7. They were pretty much the only thing that i considered pretty good from s7.
so yea, lots of stuff going on. Pretty curious to see patch notes, and the ptr.

no - they did address it, and said core skills were for another season!
I saw hammer of the ancients got buffed from 98% to 110%
