Bring on the patch note blizzard, we want to theory craft

no one is playing the game seriously or respecting to new build because we all know big patch is coming and there really no point to reroll or respect until we see what changes u bring in the big patch. bring on the patch note, so we can theory craft and reroll gear accordingly before it hits.

Would be fun if the patch only arrived minutes before season started, so we couldn’t pre-plan as much.

DO not need theory. Pretty much already fact it sucks. And why preplan with changes it is only a day or two till you right back in the same no endgame loop of no rewards.

might as well post it 10 days in advance, and give the player base more time to theory craft out build for it.

It has to be pretty meh to not post it yet. You would think they would want some hype if they were adding much.

What in the world is there to theorycraft, in Diablo 4?

Meh, they already went through the patch on the stream. What more are you expecting? If they had anything worth mentioning, they would have mentioned it then to try and create more interest.

I was super interested in the new uniques and legendary aspects, but each class is only getting one. There’s just no way in hell the itemization is anything better than it is now from a single unique and single legendary aspect.

I’ll probably wait a year or so until I play again. But honestly, I may just quit the game forever. It was fun for a single playthrough, well, until level 75 at least. But I don’t know if I can actually have fun for another playthrough until things are entirely different, and that might never happen.

Theory crafting around a shallow game. People sure do like to fantasize.

There isn’t anything to theory craft. The game is paper thin in complexity.

Wouldnt it be safer for them to bring back the PTR 2 weeks prior to season, so people can playtest the changes…
I somehow have the feeling that there will be some weird a$$ aspect interactions again and they might disable them without a real notice, besides twitter lol

It would be safer but there likely wasn’t enough time/forethought to do a PTR and the changes are likely just number on the balance side of the patch and internally tested aspects and uniques that were cut so they figure enough time has been spent enuring they don’t break something badly (which we know is a bad assumption).

They do want hype and the information will be out into the universe quick enough to build hype just before launch. We get our updates on information within hours on our phones that have algorithms designed to make us engage. Giving the information now would cause a hype and then decline cycle prior to launch

Thats what Im more worried about lol
I mean on the Dev stream they explicitly said they are doing all the tests quite heavily on the QA and take their time with adding stuff´so they dont break anything.
On that day the Helltide fiasco began lol

Some of these kids would lose it if they did not have others like maxroll to show them what to do all the time.

I would like to know what kind of ideas the dev team has had before they just shove this patch on us. For all we know its a broken mess, a solution to everything, or maybe just a pre planned content update and no meaningful changes. They been real vague so far.

If they are fixing class issues i want to know which ones and what they are changing just as much as i want to know what QoL improvements they might add. Seasonal content is just the stuff they add on to make money so that comes afterwards, I want to know the gameplay changes/fixes before i try to jump into anything new they bringing to us.

not happening until next expansion, blizzard speed

I feel like PTRs are useless at the moment. They had the most popular/experienced ARPG gamers test the game, and they all said it was a good game.

And if they let regular people test the game right now, I doubt they’d be able to give proper feedback.

There is at least hope, that we wont have any major mess ups with the patch.
Guess thats why they patch it 2 days prior to season start for a fast beta test :stuck_out_tongue:
