Bring Back Potions

Why did they remove potions? it was one of the best features in the game, using different potions for different situations and now they just turned d4 into d3. Bring back the potions why take away our autonomy? I dont get why they removed potions, lets get a movement started and get them back

Apparently “gamers” cried about having to track the status of a 30 minute pot.

Today’s “gamers” would never have survived the 80s and 90s console games

I’d say the majority of the player base grew up playing those games.

I am glad the elixirs and incense are gone. I hated having to farm the herbs for them. And I always felt guilty if I logged out while my buffs were still up. So glad that is off my mind!

They seem super concerned about making people think too much and track different things. They massively dumbed down the skill tree, removed multiple mechanics, and generally lowered the need to think about anything but grinding (which they raised by 2 orders of a magnitude). They added in a takes little thought charms, and put the Cube back in (which should have been in day 1). All in all, far less thought is needed now.

I must admit, I was confused… I’ve never used those potions and I was thinking “Wait… Diablo 3 has legendary potions, what the hell is he talking about??”

To be honest, I’ve never liked these kinds of consumables… in any game.

My favorite game has them too, and I never use them.

I feel like the exact opposite. The game was super casual and now it doesnt feel casual at all. It feels like its just trying to be PoE

I think we just haven’t figured out how to play “well” yet.

For example, I saw players in D3 (who had no idea what they were doing) investing 200 hours in a season and not finishing it.

they explained in the launch update that players rely on elixirs and incenses for exp, so they buffed monster kill exp and removed elixirs and incenses to reduce inventory tension. however, they did not address the power part.

RPG with no Elixirs feels really shiiiit. What dumb nerd thought this was a positive?

I hope this satire, otherwise I’m losing hope in humanity.

The POEification is almost complete, way to *$@%#&+ go Blizzard. /sarcasm

POE’s skill system and passive web is easily 3 orders of magnitude more complex, even before they dumbed down the skill tree. Then you have all the different currencies and other mechanics. This game seems to be trying to go in a lets dumb everything down direction, and just max out the grind like some Chinese free to play mobile game.

i dont know mavby because of console ORKS WITH 0 IQ

YEAH

i hste them cotoo

I miss them too, especially the incense where we could spread the buff around at the entrance to the Pit.

Most of “todays gamers” parents weren’t even born in the 80s.

And thats a good thing. Diablo 4 is now all about fishing. We just have to cleanse the best fishing spots from the monsters.

Topic:
Potions & Elixiers? I do not miss them. I have fun without them :see_no_evil_monkey:

To be honest, having to stop every 15 minutes to reactivate a bonus or craft more items is annoying in a game where the point is to fight.

It’s like when your inventory fills up… it interrupts the fun.
