broo for real, with these awful seasonal powers and no real help for the pit pushes. why dont blizzard bring set builds from our characters like the season diablo III has. It would make the game so much more fun to play, having a new unique build to play with versus us creating these boring poor builds that does nothing cool.
like the G.O.D. build from the DH was so broken and fun to play, being able to speed bounties and speed low tier greater rifts.
not sure but every season dies within threes of it being launched, cant push in the pits when the monsters have so much health or the final boss is broken as hell and you need 8mins to kill it. for god sake make the game more enjoyable for fans that work for a living. the only people pushing high pits is people that dont have a life.
and dont even start on the xp system its so broken that its not worth grinding after paragon 250. taking a day sometimes to get a level. if you not gnna give us set builds maybe perhaps give us our 7 boards back. this system yall have create is awful.
make the game better. only takes a couple seconds to read when your fans are asking for. you ask for feedback and dont even take the time to listen to your fans.
every new season is just a repeat of the last season, really more new powers, oh im so excited for the same crap since the witch season.
thanks for nothing.

Because the majority dont want D3 sets. They spoke about this during development. Maybe sets will come back but lets hope its nothing like D3 sets.

Don’t we already have the same thing over and over again as is, why would you add sets to the mix just to keep it status quo?

D3 sets didn’t give us variety and diversity in viable builds. They did the opposit. Pigeonholed you into playing a very few builds every season.

D4 is the same. Powers to try to bring all builds to be the same but in the end only a few are actually worth playing if you dont have the extra BS powers.
I know. So wish allready granted. I guess OP misses the 100.000% damage multipliers lol.
What we also have for a few skills, so yeah only change is there are no specific set items, other than that it’s very much D3 like, but somehow progression, items and edgame feels worse.

Best part of D3, i could replay the entire campaign as much as i wanted. Play the whole campaign on a higher torment level to see if i could push it.

That I don’t miss much. But I guess replaying the story on different difficulties is a trait of Diablo, that should be an option.

Exactly. I want that option in D4. Raise the boss/npcs during the campaign to whatever torment level you are. I would love to replay this campaign, simply because i really miss that drunk Lorath.

The poor naive people who can’t see the gatekeeping scam that blizzard is running.
They know they’ve trashed the IP and the only thing they can do at this point is gatekeep.
Expect sets as a selling point of a future expansion. Just like fighting ANY of the prime evils. (No, Mephisto’s doggy doesn’t count)
Sets in D3 was their lazy attempt for balancing. They couldn’t do it. So they “invented” the one set / 1-2skill mechanic and pushed it with such stupidly ridiculous high numbers to match D3 player base power fantasy.
Sets in D4 would be great but when, then please more in line with D2 LoD sets and not like the ones from D3.

Whether you agree or not, I sincerely believe that listening to the wrong fans is what got D4 to our current state.
One of the reason D2 was great because the team has a unified goal/direction without interference of so called fans.

Sets will be the great equalizer and a blow to content creators. This game effectively has sets, just not in a simplified form like D3. Here you have to discover your “set” by diligently scouring over the skill twig to find synergetic multipliers and pairing them with the ones you find on equipment. In D3 the work is mostly done for you through sets paired with a handful of uniques. The end result is the same: inflating numbers as much as possible. The main difference is that the average player doesn’t have the ability or inclination to do the work themselves and let content creators create the “sets” for them.
Might as well skip the middleman and just go with sets again. Then again, the actual gameplay in this game is childishly easy. The challenging part is build craft. Without that, there will be nothing left.

I haven’t settled on an official opinion on sets, But I do wish they added more uniques and legendary aspects each season. I feel like a lot of skills are still neglected in terms of power.
Itemization will get fixed when MW gets completely removed or side-stepped
Adding sets is none of that
Just wait a bit longer. Pretty sure they’ll be there with the expansion release.
Set items would invalidate too many items right now and would force us into the builds they provided. Not that we don’t already have a 1 or 2 build meta. But if barbs were given 3 item sets now they have 3 builds. Because why bother with other builds considering how much power the full 6 item sets from D3 gave.
Crusaders item set gave you 10 bazillion million percent increase to sweeping strike attack speed so guess what bud? You’re using sweeping strike.
Only if they design them this way. They also could build them skillneutral. Means like Shako + on all skills or core skills etc.
I think they would have to implement them into the game in a different way. Maybe even make set gems a thing.
Again?
D3 is the other way…

Stop trying to push D4 to be D3.7…
Indeed.
As i’ve stated before, dev’s should stick to theyr game view and ignore fans.
They can’t please everyone if they listen to fans, so the game will just be a mess…
