i feel like d4 runewords are watered down , maybe could be cool to bring in d2 runewords but limit us to how many we can wear at once. Anybody agree?
They’re not watered down they’re just serving a different purpose
If I were to decide I’d kinda nerf all the Ritual runes (the ones giving offerings) and then allow 3-way & 4-way Runewords (i.e. 3 sockets and 4 sockets) at times
THAT would be much more interesting IMO than having to being “stuck” with the 2-way ones we have
But again - D2 runewords were a “long term secret weapon” that you build in the garage until time is right, and the D4 ones are intended for an extra/final layer of build specializations
They’re different in design, intent, and serve a different purpose, can’t say one is better than the other, it’s really apples & oranges
