Bricking items is the worst idea I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t say how many 2-3 GA items I have lost because of this system. The feeling is awful. It doesn’t make any sense, especially with a short 3-month season. In a few weeks, all the season 4 characters will be sent to the “Big Character Graveyard” called ‘Eternal Realm’, so why make the game this hard? The tempering system should change ASAP imo.
Then what happens after you have the best pieces all 3x GA? What is your next complaint? “The game is too easy, I have nothing to do.” Every single ARPG has chase items, the point is to not get everything in the game right away, you’re supposed to progress towards it.
Even the great PoE has more “Bricking” than you people could ever imagine, yet here you are complaining about something that doesn’t even determine anything. You can run 100+ pits without ANY GA pieces, as I have done so on Rogue, Barb, and soon Necro…
Can the system be less punishing? Sure… as I’m sure they will adjust it from the minority complaints across these echo chamber forums that believe they’re the majority of people playing the game. Which mostly is due to some random person on a computer that streams the game and complains.
So continue complaining without a solution, or suggestions for what should be changed. You’re providing so much important information regurgitating the same complaints over, and over again.
we are 3 weeks into the season. no need for impatience. even builds without GA items clear the pits, there is no need for temper tantrums (pun intended)
I just wish people would understand the game they are playing… its a looter dungeon crawler and yet people expect it to be like fornite or whatever to have the access to the best equipment asap…

i dont think people who play arpgs, knowing what they are about, ever can… i mean i can see the desire for “guaranteed uber uniques” in a way as d4 attracted mmo players, but the rest is beyond my comprehension.
Like i could easily complain about uber uniques. In all my hours playing i have never gotten one to drop… but thats literally just rng. Some people get ubers like candy (lucky bastards!!!) Other could go their entire time playing and never see one dropped (im not talking about using sparks to get, just dropped in general)
Yeah, I completely agree with this post. Unless you RMT and are able to afford multiple of the same 2-3 GA item to temper perfectly, then there is no reason to put yourself through this annoyance of a design. The balancing of gold in this game is non-existent where the 1% has gold cap, most likely RMT/RMT’ers, and then there is the rest of us, trying to afford 1 GA items and trying to catch up to inflation which is near impossible. Sad to say this version of the game has been the most fun, but worst feeling ARPG due to this crafting system design and don’t get me started on the lack-luster, copy/paste of Greater Rifts called Pits.
