If Blizzard is not capable of getting rid of these Gold Seller Bots, then at least give us the OPTION to not have a chat Window at all.

I am in no need of it constantly interrupting for some Cheating Gold Seller crap.

you can turn off the trade chat in your settings anytime.

yea, as frozen said, its in the social tab, at least pretty sure its there. not online right now so i cant check it myself.

Glad to hear it. Yeah it goes crazy from times to time, not suprised really, but hey! atleast we can turn it off.

are there so many cheating moron gold buyers that it is profitable to run that many bot accounts.

well, obviously it is. they do get banned, but purchasing a new license isnt really an issue. So yea, all we can hope for that blizzard will improve their detection methods soon.

Have you seen Diablo 2 chat? HA HA HA! It definitely started from there, and if there wasn’t a market for it , it would not exist.

lol yea. i mean one can easily google some sites. the prices are ridiculous.

thats actually even another reason why im absolutely against tempering resets. Let the credit card warriors buy 3 GA items, and brick them :smiley:

Sadly, most of the bot farmers are in not so well off economical countries that they would make more profit in the real life selling virtual items to more economical countries or for certain currencies. They actually have full time jobs doing such thing to get around the “botting” suspicions where a real life person is playing, but that’s the extreme generally its a botting prog.

Also take in the consideration what is their net gain sure you’d spend 59.99 for the game, but you make a significant amount for selling gold or services, that entity will just buy a new copy and do it all over again since there is a decent net profit.

Well, back in the day, You’d get this 7 Lined Bot Advertisement (in green text) that would cover your entire Screen while you play.

It was BAD, it was funny, it was rather …sad. But it was part of Diablo 2

I honestly can’t recall that, but I kind’a do…It’s very Vague, but I’m honestly not surprised.

Might as well say those “bots” actually did work for Blizzard. :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth: :rofl:

I miss those days… Those stupid bots were always part of Diablo 2’s charm.
