Yeah, you can do that, hit the space bar and if you have boots with extra evade charges you can double and even triple tap your space bar to keep evading out of the boss attacks further away.
Also, movement speed is very important, don’t neglect it, it’s one of the best stats in the game that keeps you easily out of trouble during boss fights.
