Bosses are too hard

hi i continued the season and i was trying my sorceress in pits but the bosses are way too difficult in 70 i can’t kill them i clean all the stage and bosses deal too much damage and have too much hit points , i tried lilith in torment 4 too and i was obliterated , same for duriel .

can the devs tone down, a little the bosses difficulty because i can’t sense my fingers after each boss .

Err, 70 what? Paragon?
So, you think that at 70 paragon you’re already good to go T4???
What’s wrong with T2?
LtP before complaining

His post says pit 70 boss. Which to be fair is a decent way past the initial T4 threshold, but if you are struggling on a T70 you will also struggle on T4 bosses.

This season because you have broken into a new tier does not necessarily mean that you can actually do the content in that tier. It’s unbalanced in that way. They want you to progress before making any jump, but the real gag is that T1-T4 doesn’t really change the drops all that much except on the bosses themselves where it mainly becomes quantity over quality.

All you are really doing is giving yourself more chances to roll gear at the same drop rates. Basically the time spent farming T4 vs T3 bosses is hardly worth it. That time for the extra handful of drops is better spent farming materials for more chances at the lower tier.

If the devs actually made the harder content more rewarding it would be a different story, but here we are.

ok thansk you i will try doing them in t3

i don’t think they are too hard just badly designed with artificial difficulty with automated rp immune phase mini games

Yeah well wait till you start hitting for 30+ bil consistently and tanking a few hits.
Bosses in this game are a DPS check. Some bosses you’ll have to learn mechanics but as your character gets stronger you won’t care about anything else. They appear, you hit em a couple of times, they disappear, you dodge a few stuff, they appear again, you hit a few times and they are dead.

I also complained when I first started, but once you reach a certain treshold you won’t care. Forced invulnerability phases are a lame mechanic but it is what it is.

My only gripe is that Lilith has become much much harder in the first stage. I guess you can still oneshot her, but if you can’t(you gotta hit a couple of trillion I guess) those oneshot mechanics start to cause grief. I couldn’t get past first phase and I literally melt every other torment 4 boss within seconds.

ok ty i will remember that

I kill bosses in pit 70 in like half a sec with sorc. I would say that its not too hard. More like you are too weak.

Why do you say it like you have no choice but to play whatever they put out? I have seen this from several people. I am just curious. I don’t usually keep playing trash games where the devs keep making terrible decisions.

The Devs are in tricky spot with balancing difficulty for the PIT. Because of the Meta builds that exist and the nature of the game, the only way they can really slow down the top builds is by giving all the enemies obnoxious amounts of life. This does accomplish the objective to making higher tiers more challenging to complete in the time limit, but does so by making them extremely tedious and boring. Seriously, blasting a group of mobs for 3 minutes to finally whittle them down and finish them isn’t particularly challenging or rewarding.

I wish they could change the balance to more closely match the Abattior of Zir from season 2. Yes, it could be punishing and massively frustrating at times, but it wasn’t boring.
