The whole boss all the sudden becoming immune to damage just so their “mechanic” can happen. Duriel, oops 1/3rd my health is gone, im now immune for 3 seconds while i burrow. This is trash. Sure do your mechanic but 5 seconds of immunity just so i have to survive your trash mechanic? Terrible design. What are you thinking blizzard? The multi dollar company

For you. Id also prefer if damage was balanced and we wouldnt be able to one shot bosses. Since that most likely wont ever be a thing, im fine with immunity phases.
Some want an easy game. Some dont.

It has nothing to do with balance. With enough power I should be able to kill it as fast as I please. Now it’s like a bad anime where the fight stops while the bad guy monologues. While the hero stops punching for some reason.

No one likes dumb obligatory bosses’ stage mechanics in ARPGs. Scorpion in PoE is the most hated boss because of this, for example, and Elder is one of the most favorite. Why devs still put this trash in their games is the mystery. It’s not a CRPG, TRPG, JRPG or Souls-like, we don’t need it here.

Maybe blizzard could introduce an item for these kind of people. You know metal gear solid 5 had this famous “Chicken head” that you could wear. Basicly trivialising the game.
I could imagine something similar for D4 for the special “I need to oneshot everything” crowd.
Maybe a fancy pink tutu which will make the char go “chaka chaka chaka chaka” all the time and every enemy on screen explodes including bosses.
Now, how many people do you expect to see running around like that? Honestly i think at least half the playerbase. I often blame Blizzard for having no dignity, but i look at the playerbase the same way.

Diablo series has always been easy when fully geared. You’re moving my point to personal affronts. It’s bad game design. Plain and simple. 2 years and this game is still screwing it up.
