Keep pushing… Maybe yet this century they do it,

better fix is remove the mats from the stash and only allow them on the character/account sheet. This would also solve the selling of mats from the 3rd party websites

Suggested already to the dev’s…
Keep pushing…

And change it so there is only 1 tier 1 mat, and 1 tier 2 mat. So I can run the boss that actually has something I want.

You want to drive players away from the game? Because turning D4 into D3 will definitely do that lol…

Having two separate mats for duriel and andy is a pain though.

I’m confused on how what i said makes d4 into d3? I just suggested remove the mats all together as an item and move them to the character sheet. Those that play honestly will be better off as they wont have oodles of mats in the stash tabs. And yea, it would be nice if they just had 1 “boss” mat to rule them all, seems silly to have many different types to summon one boss or another.

Not sure what’s silly about it.

The mats for the lesser bosses drop out in the world… and from the lesser bosses you get the mats for the premium bosses that have the best chance at the best loot.

Rocket science? Not really.

If they put just one mat, what’s the point on having multiple bosses?
Currently the minor bosses are there for a grind mat ladder to the last bosses.
If there’s only one mat boss, it’s uselles to have multiple bosses…

I would leave the mats as they are, but stack’em idefinetly… why not?

Some people just have to randomly derp about “D3 bad”.

Because they have different loot drops?

I mean, the only other reason to run them is to get the mats for andy and duriel … or basically one or the other, since you don’t have to run both of them either.

It’s an arbitrary boss fight either way, and that makes the materials they hold equally as arbitrary. So the only thing that’s actually interesting about it is which boss fights you like to do, and need for loot.

Having a universal boss mat doesn’t change that at all, and actually lets you play the bosses you want / need way more often, instead of having 50-75% of them being for ones you don’t need.

Not going to happen until duping is resolved. Made clear during s6 campfire.

Already i think we see the results of boss mat duping inside the first week and probably a fair amount of botting associated with it.

Not a time to unleash the shackles.

Devs have already acknowledged they want to do this from my question answered in the campfire or whatever it was.

Yeah, which is why I also think they should just move the boss materials to the materials UI panel. Remove them from the economy … I rarely see people asking for them in trade anyway, it just facilitates exploits / a crashed economy, and takes up all our storage space.

Im for this change as well. They could make a vendor in the game that you can sell mats too if you really need to. 5m each for blood, fear, ect. 10m each for egg and shard and shackle and doll. Maybe rarely this vendor lets you buy some mats other players have sold at same price. Just a weird idea.

The duping of mats issue is less about the economy and more about the unlimited access to bossing provided to those not playing the same Eula constrained game as the rest of the community.

Remove the Eula constraints or manage them. The middle road ambiguity is not in the playing community’s interests.

A Single Stash Tab for every consumable in the game.
Stacking up to: Insert large number(1k/10k etc).

Player INVENTORY Tab: Limited to 50 as it stands.
(Shift+Click - select quantity to remove X amount from Stash in stacks of 50 to move to Inventory Tab).

The reason I suggest maintaining Player Inventory @ 50 is twofold:
…1: There may issues based on the wonky item coding and this could cause errors/memory/whatever if we’re carrying so much xyz on our characters.
…*2: Duping has never been resolved. IF stacks could go to 1k for example in player inventory - then the RMT clowns might be able to dupe 1k at a shot and trade(sold) stacks etc in mass quantity stacks.
Moral: Keep it as clunky as possible for RMT - but give Players the QOL of increased Stash Consumable Stack Quantity AND a dedicated Stash Tab(s) for the fixed amount of consumables in the game.

p.s. been asking for increased stack size or making them go to materials tab for over a year… :cricket: 's

You’re referring to the s6 campfire where Colin responded to question(s) about increasing boss mat stack size with (to the effect of) “we’re looking into a duping issue first”?

Boss materials…

The only materials that don’t go in the material tab.

Stack size of 1000 would be a good start.
