I’m currently playing Bone Spirit Necro, but I can’t get enough essence.
Do the bone prison parts no longer count as active minions for the Requiem Aspect?
They are still everywhere in the guides

I bet not as that was a bug/unintended same as the pet being an active minion…
I mean it really shouldn’t be a minion if you think about it.
Of course it’s nonsense in itself and probably not planned that way.
But it was like this for several seasons.
In guides like those from icyveins, maxroll or wowhead also in updated guides for the dlc it is still a core element to reach the 275 essence for it to work at all.
Unfortunately, there was no change in this direction in any of the patch notes.
Well, TBH 275 Mana isn’t a must. You can use Blood Surge/Bone Spear to bridge that gap if you have good mana regen, etc.
I know this be an old thread, but was asking the question myself, tested it and does not count anymore.
