Bone and Shadow Work together but not Blood and Bone... Why even put blood in the game

The game is about playing how you want to, as per the devs, however… EACH AND EVERY necromancer is forced to use bone spear… or a bone build to some degree to survive and kill in higher tier things such as NM Tier 40 Dungeons… BLOOD DOES NOT SYNERGISE WITH ANYTHING!!! why even put it in the game if you are going to neglect it. Just make the skill tree Bone Spear… because thats all you gave us. I love this game, but im losing patience with being forced in to stupid META B.S…

Don’t forget the shadow mist jank build. The only bone skill it uses is Bone Storm, which is converted via aspect. The build doesn’t even touch bone spear, yet is perfectly capable of clearing all content in the game relatively comfortably because it just will not fricking die.

I’m more upset that Necros lost the Poison archetype from D2. They had Poison Dagger, Poison Explosion, and Poison Nova. They had a tree called POISON & BONE SKILLS.

Can you elaborate a bit more please? I am bone spear / bone storm necro

I am using curses and blood combined and find these at least for the moment (around lvl 30) to be quite effective.

bring back poison necros fr

Im more upset golems dont auto taunt like d3

Explosive shadow mist/infinimist. It revolves around using continuous CDR from high lucky hit and Decrepify to keep blood mist and bone storm available pretty much at all times. Blood mist generates and detonates corpses while making you immune to damage, bone storm gives you craptons of barrier and deals more damage, corpse tendrils provides a constant source of vulnerability, and corpse explosion fills in any gaps. It is of course a shadow build, as implied by the name.

Played correctly and with an adequate amount of lucky hit, you become functionally immortal.

I think Blood might just be designed to be the strongest but most high budget build for the class.

If you think about it, if you have a Shako Blood suddenly hits 20million+ overpowers that require zero aim and hit the entire screen at ridiculous attack speeds.
Add a doombringer into that and it would be like 25mil+.

Blood disproportionately benefits from both of these items by a massive margin compared to Necros other builds.

I get what you’re saying, and blood definitely needs work (and fixes for things that are already supposed to work) but I don’t quite understand the need to be meta.
Not using bone spear may reduce the level of dungeon you can do…but so what? Personally, as long as I’m having fun I don’t really care if other people can clear dungeons faster than me (within reason). I’d probably play a rogue if I did.

Why would Shako make crazy overpowers? It doesn’t seem to add much more than normal health?

+4 to Tides of Blood and Coalesced Blood specifically would sky rocket Bloods output.
Moreso than +4 to anything for any other build.

Oh true. I forgot about the passives.

Unless you have have force cold enhanced monster.

Not sure why Blizzard think it is ok to instantly freeze a player.
