Bnet is hot garbage

Only getting around 3 mins of combat prior to complete lag.

I am.able to run about but npcs are lagging on the spot.

Again - thanks for making a single player game “always online”

Another recent blizzard failure

I don’t understand these things honestly.

How come most people play just fine, then we have a few people here and there outraged that the game does not work.

How can it work for some and not for others?

How come a single player game even needs to be online at all is the real question here.

Just because its fine for you doesnt mean that other paying customers arent less valuable become you arent having the same issue

It doesnt
Good thing diablo is and always has been multi player.

Just like your valuable responses - right ?

The always online is for blizzard to collect gameplay data so they can improve upon future additions. Alos stops people from priating their games.

Because youd be incredibly shocked what people call “computers” and what they call “internet” these days.

You mean my i3 1050 with 4mbps DSL cant run this game on super ultra mega settings?!!?!?!?! HOW DARE YOU!?!

Offline is a risk of hacking, illegal downloads, bankruptcy, cheats and more.

Exactly this.

And I’ll bet they are the same ones who sit on forums trying to dunk on Console users like they are some sort of Elite PC Snob.

While they sit on their HughesNet Satellite Internet complaining about lag.

Oh yes my i7 4080 is definitely potato spec.

its not a single player game its a mini-mmo, also most of the people who are having problems with the game are running at max graphics on hardware that can’t handle it or have crappy internet connection. can’t blame a game not working if they are not willing to work on it and also most of these people are posting in general discussion and not posting in tech support to review their issues.

Im not running at max graphics and my internet isint terrible :slightly_smiling_face:

About that just for a bit of trivia, Blizzard does not really support anything but wired connections. Satellite is one of the more problematic ones.

They have an article explaining a bit about each connection type they don’t really help with.

They do that to prevent piracy or illegal acquisition of games.

Offline with mods is absolutely superior. The things people have done with D2 are amazing.

Diablo was never a single player game? They literally built classic battle.net FOR Diablo. So idk what nonsense you’re on about. Unblock ports lol.

While you can play Diablo single player in D1 and D2, classic Bnet was built to enable multiplayer. Otherwise people could just continue playing on their own PC.

I play solo myself, but I don’t pretend that multiplayer is not a key intended function of the game. If I don’t want to take advantage of it, fine. Devs want it always available though.

So far I have not found D4 to feel over populated. Occasionally someone runs by in the outer world, but not often. Mostly you see them in town.

What region are you in?

I agree that mods are fun, but this is a policy that the company chose to adopt as a kind of protective measure for various reasons.

You can disagree with it, but there are justified reasons for this decision.
