When in a dungeon the area becomes blurry and when i stop moving it re-focuses. I read that this was posted back in 2023 but have not seen a real fix. Any ideas on how to fix this?
it did that to me with dlss on and stopped with dlss off.
thing is there’s no dlss option anymore aside from frame generation for 40x series so idk what to suggest.
*it’s in resolution scaling now… i got it on “default”.
trash computer…got it
far from it. every other game i play on ultra settings, but d4 is the only one thats blurry while running around in dungeons.
Try not using dlss or the other 2-3 upscaling methods. These use smaller texture/skins files to speed up performance, and “upscale” them and use the GPU to calculate how to make it look better.
Basically, these options are like loading a 1 kb jpg as opposed to a 1 mb png graphics file, then trying to upscale the resolution of the 1 kb file to what a 1 mb file looks like. There will be pros and cons and it won’t be perfect, esp when moving and the graphics card has to recalculate the background constantly.
Use default to get the best image quality.
If you are on an AMD gpu, see what fsr version you are using and the quality setting for it. If on 2, switch it to 1 on quality or highter, or off altogether, depending on your rig. That fixed sooooooo much graphical wierdness for me. It seems to default to fsr2 and it seems to have wierd interactions with AA, really terrible looking a lot of the time, and really doesn’t boost framerates all that much. If you are using nvidia, see above, dlss may be the cause.
Another AMD specific side note: if you use Adrenaline, turn stuff like fluid motion frames and that setting that varies render resolution based on movement. That stuff is super wonky on my rig. Lol. I only run Antilag and the adrenaline vsync version. (I use a 65" 59.94hz tv as a monitor, and screen tearing is terrible without some kind of sync turned on with a 7800 xt)
It’s your monitor.
Which monitor are you using?
I know for myself i had a Samsung Odyssey g5 something. It was horrible, when the screen was somewhat dark like in a dungeon the screen was blurry to the point i got naucious when i was moving.
