Blurred Beast still not fun, remove Dashing requirement please

By redesign I thought it will become fun to play but nope, still same playstyle punishing for being in melee range. With this nerf is it even worth using? Poison Shred build was already not great. Please get rid of this Dashing requirement from it. Maybe Rabies buff will do something…

Only because of AoZ mode right? But overall far from great build.

Not really sure why blurred beast was getting changed. It was difficult to get to work without using poison creeper or rabid wolves to spread out enough poison. It worked OK then.

Being in melee range wasn’t much of an issue. If you had the Shred option that dashes you every strike, you were only in melee range for a split second beofre dashing to a new target.

was doing 17bil dmg prior to aoz even being released. so not even before aoz still was hardest hitting in game

How? Is there a build out there for this? Never saw numbers anywhere near that. But mine was just a homebrew build that did OK.

B tier on icy veins too. Anyway my issue is playstyle. Melee build punishing me for being in melee range.

well all druid builds are basically melee range.

I mean Shred is melee skill but this aspect forces me to be in range. Especially awful for boss killing.

i use pulverize poison which does almost the same amount of damage.

so this means no more double dipping, right?

Wait. You’re mad because an aspect for a melee skill requires you to be in melee range?

I think they meant - “Ranged”.
It’s the weaving out - dash in rotation I don’t think they care for.
Or it’s possible they’re not aware of the proper playstyle. :man_shrugging:

Ah, don’t know jack about the Druid builds so I took it as written.

Sorry for the misunderstanding OP.

As it says aspect only works when Shred is doing Dash to get close to enemy so for 100% benefit you must move away from mob or boss and Dash again which in my opinion is very dumb mechanic for melee build. It’s like D3 Charge Barb but worse cuz Charge can be used in melee range.

No it sucks because you have to be OUTSIDE of melee range to dash. It’s a crappy playstyle that takes too much micromanagement. Best way to fix this skill would be to add no minimum range to use the dash component. That way I don’t have to run outside of melee range to use the skill.
