Blood Wave Necromancer Power vs. Speed?

Hello, Blood Wave Necromancer here. I have 100% crit chance, and am starting to hit for Trillions. (Shows up as 1,000 B) So about the one trillion mark. I got my Cooldown pretty good where I can focus on Corpse Explosion rather than running around circles to pick up orbs.

I have a goal of hitting Paragon 300 because it’s the last Xbox achievement I need to 100% Diablo IV. I know the META is Barbarian clearing 95s, in a group, in 60 seconds. I plan to do this mostly solo, oh and I’m currently Paragon 244.

My reason for going solo is, while groups are great; sometimes people AFK or take too long in town, or you have to wait for the party to fill. For that reason I plan to solo.

Now Power vs. Speed? With Blood Wave I find a 60 second run is impossible. But a three to five minutes run I can clear anywhere from 100-115. I cleared a 120 in seven minutes. And I consistently clear 105s in three to four minutes while 111 is consistently around five minutes.

Like I said I’m currently Paragon 244.

I feel like one shotting every pack in such a wide range of Pit levels means this. While I can’t clear in 60 seconds, if I one shot everything, then why not go higher?

How much time am I looking at here? Rob got 300 in 108 hours. I’m comfortable with the idea that 244 to 300 will take me maybe 40-60 hours …?

How much time am I looking at here? I know I have enough time in the season. And it’s a Marathon not a Sprint.

Thanks.

This is the second season I’ve played a Necro, like you a Blood Wave, and it is a bit slower. However I play in a regular group and most of the time everybody plays quickly. There are a couple new guys who sometimes join the group who slow things down but mostly our group plays fast.

Rob plays in a group and you get extra ExP for being in a group so you will level up faster. I understand your reason for playing solo but if you are in a group and there are people who play fast you might want to make friends and play in a group with the same people. I hit 300 last season and I’m 259 right now and I estimate it will take me another 60 - 70 hours to hit 300.

Man, don´t compare with people that get rushed.

Actually i do 110 being 230 more a less, have 60 crit chance and a lot of crit dmg. You want a 60 sec run? well you are crazy, this is a game, so the game is meant to have fun not to beat a timer, they do the pitt like this just for lazy people, but i don´t even actually like it, timer go to hell, you want a oneshot game? play other games man, this is not intended to be like this, only people continuously are breaking the game so they nerf again and again, if you could play like a normal person maybe they would never nerf this stuff, but because of people like you they spend more time in the nerfing or buffing balance stuff than making a great game with an awesome storyline, have you even noticed they don´t do now cinematics? is a wth¿? that´s because they waste time on crap challenges instead of working on improving the game, if you want an arcade, not AN ACTION ROLE PLAYING GAME, go and play ARCADE, is not the same ARCADE THAN ACTION. So please don´t waste time here trying to change an entire game just because you mistake the explanation in the kindergarden.

Sorry, i know i´m bitter and a bit harsh on you but man, you hurt this game with this stuff, you want meta? play other games. The streamers who does builds are rushed so they can do a lot of builds instead of having fun, they get paid and you are trying to be compared with them, i don´t get paid in this game so i don´t like to work and waste my time getting frustrated cause some guys did pressure the company and employees to switch the ACTION TO ARCADE concept.
