Blood Mist is the TRUE ultimate of the Blood skill tree

Blood Mist can OVERPOWER each tick over it’s ENTIRE DURATION!

It’s true that the base damage for Blood Mist is essentially nothing however, when it OVERPOWERS, it benefits from the Overpower bonus damage! Moreover, the Overpower bonus damage gets added on to EACH TICK which now makes Blood Mist a deadly ability on it’s own.

You must be asking, “How do you get Blood Mist to Overpower? There’s like, no mechanic for it like there is Blood Surge and Blood Lance! Silly Wukong! Go back to League of Legends where you can’t even spin to win anymore!” Why, that’s the easy part! Rathma’s Vigor key passive guarantees that the next Blood skill Overpowers if you’ve been healthy for the last 12 seconds!

Note in this video I had about 337% Overpower bonus damage with a 1H+Focus setup. I’ve since returned to a 2H setup and have ~450%.

Now I can already see the gears turning in the developers heads. You want to nerf this IMMEDIATELY! To that, I say, the game sort of takes care of that already when higher levels = more enemy HP and the Overpower bonus damage can’t keep up with it anymore. You see that happening in this video:

Yes, this is a known strategy for early game. IN early game, blood mist is your boss killer. Once you level up enough, it no longer works. Blood mist doesn’t scale up well and unless you have made your build around blood mist shenanigans, the Overpower blood mist method becomes far less efficient than spamming your core skill.

Interestingly enough, I’m in WT3 now fighting +5 lvls higher than me and it’s still one shotting elite packs lol (not bosses though sadge)

It’s not Blood Mist that scales up b/c that part of the ability is irrelevant, it’s the Overpower Bonus Dmg that scales. At the time of the video, I only had OP bonus dmg % but now in WT3 I have +Max Life and +Fortify which adds to OP bonus dmg :sunglasses:

Bloodmist OP’s were only weak in the late game, because every Rathmas Vigor based OP was weak, and Bloodmist can only OP from Rathmas.

Now that the Paragon node is hotfixed to actually work with Rathmas Vigor, Bloodmist is a strong offensive ability. If your Blood Surges are OPing for 700k, every tic of your Bloodmist will now also tic for 700k

Neither was Rathmas Vigor hotfixed but instead is part of the 8th August patch, nor does overpower hit the same for every skill, or in total for the same.

Yeah, still works okay in tier 3. Around level 70, other approaches just became far superior. You’ll see.

In the video I’m lv43 and 45 so there weren’t any paragon nodes that were active. If that’s weak then I want to see strong lol!

Looking forward to it. I’m approaching 500% Overpower Bonus Damage lol!

Wukong is a noob. Don’t waste your time reading his posts. You’ll just learn how to be bad at the game. Also, don’t argue with him. He never fights mobs more than 5 levels higher. He’s usually doing normie dungeons and then claims his build is great.

Apparently scrubs ^ haven’t figured out that Blizzard nerfed the EXP gain for mobs +1,2,3 levels higher than you and therefore clear speeds with mobs equal and not too high from your level produces the fastest XP per hour. He’d know that if he’d grinded the original paragon 100 in D3 which he clearly didn’t.

Only scrubs waltz into other people’s threads with no working knowledge of what’s going on only to attack them and think that that’s what proves them wrong. What a sad sad life they lead.

edit: and thanks for bumping my threads lamao

edit2: and not that it matters but I did capstone at 47 and went into WT3 at that time. Mobs started out as lv55 and I still crushed it.

edit3: Apparently this dude doesn’t understand that it doesn’t take fighting monsters at NM100 to understand that Overpower Bonus Dmg statistic does this and this skill does that. People who operate in this fashion where you take the science out of it (1+2=3) then turn it into attacking people unprovoked should not be taken seriously at any point no matter if it’s Diablo or otherwise. He’s not going to try to understand where you’re coming from. He’s going to waltz into your threads and attack you if he doesn’t like you, FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, just like how you see here.

you are playing against mobs and bosses with less level than you dude.

You were saying?

Were does it show they’re 10 levels higher than you?
You’re in WT3 at level 60. Enemies in WT3 stop scaling after level 55 and trail up to 5 levels behind. You’re not in a NM dungeon so that cap is unchanged and you’re fighting enemies 5 levels below your own.

Regarding this statement:

Apparently scrubs ^ haven’t figured out that Blizzard nerfed the EXP gain for mobs +1,2,3 levels higher than you and therefore clear speeds with mobs equal and not too high from your level produces the fastest XP per hour. He’d know that if he’d grinded the original paragon 100 in D3 which he clearly didn’t.

The XP you previously got for +3 levels is now awarded for +10 levels. To get the same XP as before you need to fight enemies 10 levels above you and kill them in the same amount of time.

To be fair, I think they are trying to impress you with it being a capstone dungeon. You’re right in that it isn’t a nightmare, but it is the capstone dungeon, so the mobs would have been higher level. I didn’t notice at first but was trying to figure out why they had to burn potions on a blood build which led me to notice the name of the dungeon.

It’s an irrelevant point anyways because all I wanted to do was show how Blood Mist worked. The troll was trying to distract from that. You don’t need to be in NM100 to demonstrate how Blood Mist works ffs

Hold on a second there, aren’t you forgetting something?

Edit: Oh, and BaalMelqart said other approaches are better than Blood Mist at 70. In actually Blood Mist worked as good as or better than it did before. So there’s that.

Oh, you’re right. I didn’t notice it’s the capstone. I stand corrected. They’re indeed level 70.

Yep, an image that never explains anything can be used for show how great you are, first you use a video when shows low level dungeons, and then you take a picture? wow, good job, i don´t care if you did with a team (cause you can be rushed), or solo, you try to sell stuff in a forum thread so people can say how awesome you are, you have to rethink what you are doing.

Want a hug?. We all know you troll everywhere. Altought i went to world tier 4 in level 6 but didn´t even cared in this season about being overpowered, instead of having the worst legendaries and still i did it. So…
