Blood build endgame?

I’m starting a necro alt and the blood nova core skill looks strong. (Forgo the skill name)
Is it viable as end game?
It doesn’t look like it has many gear to help out.

Im coming from a Druid companions build totally bugged so I hope I can find fun again with a blood necro

Until they fix Overpower to scale in endgame where a single multiplier isn’t enough to deal with the exponential amount of damage required, I’d recommend avoiding blood Necro altogether.

  1. He’s not using essence on lucky hit while simultaneously not using a two hander, meaning he’s not generating sh*t for essences and costing him a lot of damage by not having the double value on the sacrifice aspect.
  2. It’s called infinite yet he runs out of essence instantly and is starved if he doesn’t get kills.
  3. The damage is extremely low for his level, direct damage build at that level do more damage with their basic hits than he does with his overpower hits.

Again, the lack of multipliers means overpower builds won’t work end game where you need exponential damage to deal with exponential monster health.

I came looking to see if somene found a blood build that works. As a level 100 necro I have already found a summoner necro build and a bone build that obviously works and deals great damage. I have yet to find a blood build that works. Currently I have 800% over power with 400% crit and in less I put a “vulnerable” damage consistantly into the mix your damage with blood is a FAR cry of a joke.
