Blood bone spear is generally good but need some refinement

Personally think it by far the most impressive and inspiring D4 necro design. The unique pants offer brand new bone spear playstyles with different thoughts behind.
However, there are some issues that require tuning to make blood bone spear function better.

  1. prison cancel and prison effect
    When blood wave was combined, the wave prison showed inconsistent interaction if player casted the other prison. You can cancel the wave prison with your own prison. If your prison is casted first, it won’t be cancelld by the wave one, and will stop firing splinters (path of tragoul equipped).
  2. the distance dilemma
    The rank 5 effect of soulrift makes it another good choice for blood bone spear. But there’s a common problem no matter what ult you use. Bone spear performance depends much on the shards and players gotta keep a nearly fixed distance from enemies. Just a subtle change in distance drastically reduces the shard number on target. When blood wave combined, you need the blood orbs (for blood spear life drain) but they are close to enemies. When soulrift combined, its radius is shorter than the best spear performance distance. In order to keep blood bone spear viable, spear shard damage is sacrificed.
  3. life drain a bit too harsh
    The purpose of drain is to consume corpse for extra spear, but life is drained no matter there are corpses or not. As long as your spear hit enemies, you’re drained.
