I mean, really? Unless they were crashing the game or causing server stability issues or they were bugged to a point where they could create broken behavior like one shotting bosses and the such, you should not be “blocking” them. Just leave them up until you fix them. Especially since the way you phrased it sounds like you found the issue at the last minute Friday afternoon and decided to just block it and go home for the weekend instead of fixing it.
God forbid a company test their product internally so aspects aren’t 1 shotting world bosses, before proudly proclaiming 3 months before release the game is finished.
That’s the problem, Blizzard QA isn’t great. Not because their QAers are bad but because management doesn’t listen to them…also their QAers aren’t great lol. That tends to happen when you don’t pay a living wage, you don’t get the proper talent needed.
And this is typically the result. D4 definitely needed more time to bake in the oven.
Nothing was one shot, that’s a gross exaggeration. A level 100 HC player was able to solo uber lilth, something the devs thought extremely hard to do,. He almost ripped in the process. it took some time to kill her, and while his dmg numbers were huge, it was not a one shot kill.
Some one else with a creative build will come along and do it all again.
I disagree. This is not a beta, its a 1.0 live release and they’re ruining the experience for the entire community due to the actions of a few. Suspend the guys that are intentionally exploiting bugs, and let the rest of us use our items.
So far they’ve made sweeping knee jerk changes that negatively affected my in progress build on more than one occasion. Right now I’m playing with two disabled affixes, neither of which I’ve abused or even knew could be abused.
These heavy balance changes should be reserved for a pre season patch. Massive game breaking bugs should have never made it to launch.
Still not a reason to block them. The rewards from the world bosses are an absolute joke. They don’t even have their own loot tables with chase items that would encourage you to drop what you are doing to kill them. I’ve opened chests with better rewards than world boss drops.
I just wish they actually told us in-game as i just found out. If you imprint 2 of the same, the one with worse stats gets greyed out. They should have done this to the disabled aspects, with some kind of explanation on the aspect text. I’m usually never on here, but i heard someone say it in a stream, and had to search it up to find out.
And of course, they turn off comments so we cannot respond. This is an awful choice on their part. It is like they do not, at all, want to hear what we have to say about this. And, of course, all I see is oh my barb, barb, barb, barb…so sick of it. What about us rogues??? Am I the only rogue that is mad about the changes??? With no clear timeline as to a fix, do I get rid of edgemaster for another aspect? Do I keep it for now and wait for the changes? Seems to me blizz says they want to change but never truly will, it is like taking back an ex at this point… If any devs see this all I have to say is, “I got you something from Target, it’s real nice (Flips the bird)!”
You’re joking right? He literally did all the damage he needed to in the 1st phase and did nothing but dodge stuff for the kill. Imagine defending that exploitive bs
If he did all the damage he needed to in p1, the boss would have been dead. He would then had not needed to dodge anything to get the kill, sounds like skill, not an exploit…
i literally watched it live. The boss has to go through all the phases before it actually dies. You’re just proving how dumb you are. Purposely ignoring hitting the boss so you can abuse the way a multiplier was bugged out n exploiting it for the kill isn’t impressive. there’s a reason no one else has done it. If you can watch what that guy did and call it skill, you’re just a fkin moron.
