I like your “we listen to the players” line that you keep repeating, but you prefer to satisfy 142 players instead of more players, so I’d like to know which players you listen to?
And “In the future, we may need to take action to maintain fairness within the game when a bug or exploit impacts the gameplay of others.”
Are you serious? How are we supposed to take it? As a threat?

I can’t understand their decision. Do they want this game to tank?

I am not among the 142 that got a shako but I am satisfied with the decision not to delete them or ban anyone so you can change the number to 143.

Yeah they messed up, then they messed up again with how they handle it, it’s really just terrible all around.

The bug did neither impact fairness nor the gameplay of others.

Is this the part where I can say ‘I saw that one coming’? Everyone was quick to applaud when they decided to pretend they were listening during their marketing demo for even more PR.

This actually did more than just leave x amount of shakos in the game. This showed the player base they don’t care about the error they made. And to all the players saying, “this is eternal realm no1 cares.” What basis are you using to not see the fact that if this happens in seasonal competitive play with ladders, any effort will be taken to fix the inevitable time something like this happens then? Wil it still be “no1 cares it’s just seasonal play”. I find myself curious who will top the ladders in seasonal play. The ones that exploit the game and show it for monetary gain as they in there ToS, “guiz if u do nething to make the game unbalanced u gonna be in troubl11.” When, exactly?

Maybe. More and more it’s looking like they developed it just so they could do split showcases with Diablo Immortal and advertise it to us.

They literally said “when this affects fairness or Gameplay of others, they will so something about it”.

They don’t listen to anyone, that’s clear, they’d rather do nothing than fix the problem, and that already gives you an idea of what the next few months will be like, it’s the vaguest answer I’ve seen in a long time.
I’ve already said it more times, they just wait for the waters to calm down, and then they try to continue as if nothing happened. (Very typical of children, they think that ignoring the problem will make it go away)
That’s why fewer and fewer people play their games.

lol its amazing how much bullsh1t blizzard can spew in one post
1: they know 142 people got the items due to there F******* mistake…
2: they say they wont remove them but will punish players in the future

My desire to play S1 is gone.

Kirin I wouldn’t recommend playing s1. I would just watch twitch and wait for them to post exploits then log in and do them real quick as x amount of hours of legitimate gameplay fails to mean nothing when the exploits come and topple over all legitimacy and nothing is done. Login to twitch and give them the money, since blizzard doesn’t mind them taking there money from them, obviously.

They learned from the WoW devs if they say that then the bootlickers get turned on to fight with the people that are in tune with reality.

Highly ironic coming from the guy throwing a tantrum because of something other people got in a video game.
