I’m a casual Hardcore player who finally managed to get a character to level 100 this season. While this might seem like an easy achievement for some, it took me a whole year to reach this milestone, and I’m sure many other players have invested a lot of time and dedication as well.
With the plan to reduce level 100 characters to 50 next season, that achievement will just be gone.
It would be great to have a way to recognize these achievements, even with something simple like a legacy reward.
For example, a unique crown next to characters name or a different color for the character’s name could serve as a small but meaningful reminder of that toon once reaching level 100.
What do you all think about it?
Fairly certain there’s titles you get and achievements for what you’ve done in Hardcore. Not to mention your hard work isn’t gone. You’ll start out as level 50 with 200 Paragon (225 if you’ve done all the renown).
You’ll have a nice head start going into the next patch. Yes you will have to level to 60, and then grind out another 100 paragon points, but that doesn’t diminish your previous achievements at all.
Thanks Iggi .
I think it will be a nice touch from Blizzard to have a little nostalgic expression to remember those toons which survived and honor the ones which died and did not make it.
I mean even now when you reach level 100 your bar changes to gold. Little touches makes great games.

Yea I’m not sure what happens to your exp bar once you hit the maximum amount of Paragon Points in the next patch. It probably turns to gold again. From what we saw in the screen shots though, as soon as you hit 60 your bar turns blue and only shows your Paragon level/points.
I get what you’re asking for, but sadly I don’t see Blizzard adding anything unique to previous characters. Would be nice for our Eternal buddies for sure, and more so for people such as yourself who take a while to level up.
Regardless though I support your post, and getting to level 100 in Hardcore can be a daunting task. You earned it fair and square, and you should be proud of your accomplishments even if Blizzard doesn’t add anything.

i think its not good it cuts twice the speed to hit max and this is alrdy disaster as it is 2 days for casual to hit 100 its 2 fast to hit 100 need times 100 longer minimum lvlin up supose to be journey if not just give us max lvl on log in whts difrance if i hit 100 today any way
what does that make me then? about 3 weeks playing and haven’t reached 35 yet
at a corner of their studio, they got Lilith statue with first 1000 level 100 hardcore names carved on to it, did you make it?
It took me a year to reach level 100 … Lots of deaths.
That thousand list were from players reaching 100 with a month max .
I dont understand this.
Reaching level 60 will probably take longer than it currently is to reach level 50. And reaching paragon 300 is probably going to be longer than reacging paragon 200 now. They are just splitting the leveling structure in two distinct systems which is basically whatit has always been exvept it was just made confusing at launch because they really wanted the level to be level 100 where it was really level 50.
