Who the hell do you think is shilling for Tencent? That is some major copium.
Can’t stand Tencent and complained when that went down, but reality is the only change since they got involved is a small fry battlepass with 5 skins on it for items no-one uses. Everything else money wise is business as usual at GGG pre-tencent.

Nope, you won’t find any posts here shilling for anything. I gave a lukewarm recommendation for LE in one thread (game is extremely buggy) but that’s it. No need to project.

Do you realise that nearly every day since June 5th, that’s 55 days, you have made multiple posts a day goading people, berating people, taunting people and generally being nasty on these forums?
377 posts, just over 6 posts a day. I skimmed through all of them. If I had to guess, 85% of them, and that’s being generous, are spent starting fights or berating people.
Are you this horrible in real life, or is it an anonymity thing?

The difference is PoE is a good game, despite it’s Chinese investors. You can tell Activision had a heavy hand in Diablo 4’s development. They tried to monetize everything they could.

Weird, I was going to say the opposite.
Diablo 4 is a good game despite all of the drama constantly surrounding Blizzard, to the point people play Diablo 4 even though it’s gotten a bad rap. Meanwhile Path of Exile is not a good game but Chinese interests keep trying to promote it. They’re doing a whole convention and paying to fly people out even though only 20,000 people in Western markets play the game.

I can’t get into PoE nowadays personally. First 3 years was ok.
The only thing about those chinese investors is that tencent is a government run corp of the ccp. Who have been been trying very hard to become the bigfest shareholders in a lot of companies in order to dictate what can be made and how its run. They also have zero problem using it as a ccp propaganda machine.
As a gamer i take offense to politics being forced on us. Like scientists, games should be free of government bull.

Ok now you are just making up numbers. PoE had/s more players than D3. Most league is done w/in 2 weeks or less. You have stand alone installer and console. You obviously have no idea what your talking about. In the end it doesn’t matter if you enjoy D4. It is objectively a bad game with bad game design. I don’t play PoE currently but have. It is a more developed game and it’ll have more people playing leagues than d4 seasons. Blizzard will hide numbers and just make statements like doing better than expected. Season 2 will fall off so hard and fast

For a $70 game to have hardly any endgame, bad itemization, bad spec diversity at launch and then try to sucker it’s players into a season just a month after release when the game is clearly not ready is insulting. Not to mention the seasonal content is incredibly lacking. Sequels are suppose to innovate and improve on previous titles. Look at what Remnant 1 > Remant 2 did or even what PoE > PoE2 is doing. PoE has depth and complexity and mostly good systems under the hood. Diablo 4 doesn’t. It’s good for casuals but that’s about it.
Oh I’m aware. Tencet has its hands in everything though. Even 5% of Activision I believe.

Yeah. Its pretty uncool. Sadly most gamers dont seem to care. Like when all the protests against blizzard for hong kong gaming fold happened, they were all against it, yet that was tencents doing, and people were like im gonna go play “league”…oxymorons
Considering what some of your people considering "casual (less than 40 hours a week)… that’s fine with me. Level to 100 over the course of a season, kill the Uber boss and complete the season’s journey, that’s good enough for me.
If you guys are happy with PoE being a streamer game, go for it. I prefer playing a game that respects my time.
