Blizzard Shards Hybrid Build Still Viable

I played D4 on release and my favorite build was a blizzard and ice shards hybrid build. Blizzard with ice spikes was the main source of damage. Ice shards was used as both an enchantment (mostly to proc burning) and on left mouse click as another source of vulnerable to bosses.

I’m returning to the game for Season 4. Is this build still viable?

I understand that the sorc class is still pretty underpowered, but I have no interest in the other classes and I play very casually, so not overly concerned about pushing very end game content.

Yes, the Blizzard sorcerer is popular and quite good. Sorc are in a poor place overall but you can certainly get to end game and brick items like everyone else. :slight_smile: Check Maxroll or Icy veins, Rob26 something youtube guy has uber builds

Glacial Blizzard is still the strongest non-Flameshield build Sorc has at the moment. It is the best at killing bosses, and is good at killing mobs.

Ice Shard is bugged or something but since you aren’t relying on it for damage that’s okay, just use it to proc burning.
