one of my favorite and hateful pieces of the game. Its cool you can uncover a beast page (early on this is great!) collecting things to “buy” a try a the book page and in the beginning uncovering a page is WONDERFUL… getting a legendary item or an upgrade as a reward, crazy good fun…

the hated part… being limited to only 3 pages a day to “try to uncover”…

going on day 300 with missing 3 pages of a 49 book doing max turn ins daily…

Would be nice if you could collect x2 or x3 the pages and target a page to “buy”… but yeah for the most part the beast book was a fun part of diablo immortal (for me)…

Personally I’d rather they not implement daily rewards, nor any content that required groups. A bestiary would be nice to have imo, however it should be optional, and shouldn’t offer any power or usable rewards. At best completing the bestiary entry of a monster family could unlock some cosmetics of said monster family. For example completing the fallen entry of the bestiary, you can unlock the axe, staffs, and helm that’s fashioned based on the fallen demons.

It’s strange that such a hated game has so many cool ideas that could bring a breath of fresh air to Diablo IV. Moving many of them without microtransactions to D4 could strongly encourage you to continue playing. I hope that will happen.

Yes its strange… but more money = better development(sadly)
this is the only good thing of this cash grab stuff

If you like Diablo Immortal so much, go play it. They can’t have two games with the same features.

Beastiary sounds fun  , the other ones not so much, ofc. depends on implementation…

If it wasnt for its monetary system, Diablo Immortal would hands down be Blizzards best game to date.
Better than WoW at its peak.
Better than the entire Diablo Franchise at its peak.
Better than WC3 at its peak.
Hands down, no contest.

Unfortunately its expensive ASF to keep up with the existing playerbases growth curve.
So, game is dead as a result.
Unfortunate.

D4 really should have been the DI(with no microtransactions) that we deserve.

Daily rewards can be fine as long as you can take a few days off and then catch up in a single play session. Worse, if they force you to look at the game every day.

This is one of the worst thing in mobile games. They use these to force players into logging in for metrics. This along with season pass should be kept out of PC games. I am hoping that the battlepass here does not succeed and gets removed after season 1.

I’d like to understand why people want to cut Blizzard off cash so much. After all, the idea of a battlepass is not invasive, and it gives the company a good cash flow so that they can develop the game all the time. Without the battlepass and cosmetic microtransactions, they could stop development and say that the game looks like it was supposed to look like and that’s it.

LMAO. Good one!
Also Immortal is an MMO, Diablo 4 is not. (and it never will be) so any content that’s not soloable has no place in D4.

I don’t mind the cosmetic cash shop. Although I think the prices are a bit too high. I actually already bought plats and some cosmetics as a show of support for the devs since I love this game. But battlepass and what the OP is suggesting about daily login rewards etc. for me is not a good road to take. I am willing to see what they do with battlepass and hope it does differ greatly from the mobile games but in general I just wish there is no such thing here.

If there is enough Solo content it is also good if they bring some group content for people that wanna play it. if u dont like it dont play it.

Option to auto loot every rarity of gear or by choice.

I already pick everything up and always have.

I don’t want to sound like a mark, but you should buy cosmetics because YOU WANT them.

You are not helping Blizzard by buying anything from the cashs shop.

Blizzard is a billion dollar game developer company with several thousand employees. They are not a indie developer on steam that sells their games for 20-30 euros and have a cash shop to help with further development costs.

Buy because you want the items not to fund development because Blizzard doesn’t need your money.

The bestiary is an easy but great way to build lore and depth to the world. There’s lots of small additions missing that would elevate D4.

I can’t imagine being lead designer for D4 with its massive budget and then being outclassed by a mobile counterpart.
