Act 3 in POE2 is more Nahantu than Nahantu is in D4.
That Review was more like something you send internally to a team of disgruntled employees to keep morale up before you give them a pizza party instead of giving them a raise.
One time someone said: When a game wants to be for everyone, it ends up being for no one.
And thats the path Diablo has followed. And blame is the game directors.
I’m reminded of a thread that I ran across on Reddit. It was about why people sailed the high seas. There was a poll that asked people why they did it. 70% of total voters voted that it’s because they couldn’t afford it. 30% of people voted it’s because they wanted free stuff. Of the people who replied to the thread, 99% of people said that it’s because they wanted free stuff and just cause they could.
So the “moral of the story” here is that despite what we see here on the forums with people saying it’s a bad game or how bad the devs are and whatnot, there’s people out there who you don’t see or hear from, and what they think is entirely different to what people here think.
