Can you expand on what you are looking forward to?
I like that reputation no longer reset but do we get to keep waypoints now too?
I still think the gameplay is boring and too slow. Mounts need to be 500% faster, most abilities need to be free (with build enabling items) to make them fun… one I Would like to see is a perma trample druid… charging everywhere and just scooping up stuff into a pile then spamming pulverise… that would be a fun build.
Also game needs more levers to accelerate your progress, more xp buffs. I hate when ARPGs are 90% grind/boring to unlock that last 10% which is actually fun. Let us play the 10% that is fun, then either quit or reroll a new build that is fun. A good way POE2 is tackling this is super good items on the first boss kill per character.
