I’m looking forward to the full patch notes. I have a feeling there’s a bit more than the recent minor adjustments in the works.
There’s Damage Control going on right now and that should lead to some interesting changes.
They also said there’s a “Surprise” in store for us(hopefully not literally a surprise IN the “Store” - Positive me slaps my negative self…stop it!).

Its not enough to draw me back really. I want to be able to farm Bosses, Run anywhere anytime, find areas I like to farm, not be locked into running NM dungeons after lvl 50. They failed as a replayable game Imo = once the story is over its complete trash thats utterley boring and redundant. No replayability at all really. I tried to like this game, played all the character classes and still wasnt interested in completing season one so I moved on. Maybe in a few years Ill come back, I still enjoy reading al the flame and vitriole forums though so thats a + …

Hopefully the companion has better pathing skills than the companions that are already in the game for certain quest like Lyndon in Backwater or Tiassa in Andariel quest or the necromancer minions when faced with the Butcher.
Im really sad. I misread this companion thing as being a new hero class. I was excited. They were advertising a non playable companion? Like we actually care about companions? Can you choose skills for her and stuff or what? Why am i going to get excited for this???
But just imagine the depressing hilarity if they DID!

I like that reputation no longer reset but do we get to keep waypoints now too?
I still think the gameplay is boring and too slow. Mounts need to be 500% faster, most abilities need to be free (with build enabling items) to make them fun… one I Would like to see is a perma trample druid… charging everywhere and just scooping up stuff into a pile then spamming pulverise… that would be a fun build.
Also game needs more levers to accelerate your progress, more xp buffs. I hate when ARPGs are 90% grind/boring to unlock that last 10% which is actually fun. Let us play the 10% that is fun, then either quit or reroll a new build that is fun. A good way POE2 is tackling this is super good items on the first boss kill per character.
For me it all comes down to… how much time do I need to invest in boring gameplay before I can do fun gameplay?
I am very time poor these days. I just want a fun ARPG I can jump into and smash things… otherwise if I had time POE is a better ARPG in every way. D3 was perfect for this. D4… just doesn’t have a niche it fills and is not mass appealing.
Idk if they listened, cause all these things for S2 are “standards”, lol these were features cut to hit deadlines

New class is always gated behind paid expansion, so keep your hopes down untill then.
Yea it kinda blew my mind that they just don’t add content to eternal also, they would have alot more players each season if they did. I’ve seen tons of people not liking seasons and having to restart every time.
Why though? You are going to be doing the same NMDs, same NMD events. All this is going to be is new lipstick on the same fat pig.

Perfect exmaple of why outrage fails. It only looks like success with blizzard casue they have the $$$
These games come out and they hope players will have a little patience, if anything the companies do need to recognise its better to wait. get it up to scratch before release even the core build. So it’s still on them not to force release.
