Blizz, find a middle ground and hold it

Don’t forget that this is an ARPG and that its possible to find a middle ground between the turbo casual dad that has 5 minutes to play and the hardcore guys who love ARPGs.

Right now the middle ground is great but if you keep listening to the WoW kids who ruined their own game and you cater to one side too much you’ll lose a huge chunk.

If you see someone has hundreds or thousands of posts on this forum thats a sign they are a chronic complainer. The exact type of person that ruins the potential of every fun blizzard game.

They spend more time on forums screaming out their entitlements because they want everything given to them ASAP. Ignore these people, you will never please the mouse. It will eat your whole house and never be satisfied. They’re the locusts that swarm from one popular game to the next.

Your core playerbase, however, is that middle ground.

Most active players here is exactly opposite here  They defend every Blizz move and saying everything is awesome, don´t change anything.

I think that’s what they call a fanboy.

IMO, the middle ground could be this:
Don’t gate gear behind the Citadel IF that’s what they are planning.
Keep it coop only and make it worthwhile, including cosmetics.

Just don’t force people to do it to be able to progress their build.

It’s gated, big deal. High level pit is also gated for most people.

T4 Lilith is gated for people

it’s a none issue it really.

Yes, I think theyve heard our feedback. Retempering scrolls should have a guaranteed drop in a solo area whereas right now they only have a “small chance”

well i disagree with your statement cuz this game is already 20h per season experience. It already catered too much to casual dads.

but in general, I agree that now a third variable has clearly appeared - Pve MMORPG players from probably WoW.

Let’s see if a turbo casual dads can beat them. LMAO

And yeah a lil bit correction - D4 is not an ARPG, last ARPG from diablo series was D3 pre-RoS. in Ros they added too many mechanics which are clearly not suitable for ARPG - from scaling to borrowed powers. D4, same as D3 RoS, is a cookie-clicker, CoD rifts experience, it was never an ARPG.

For you it’s not an issue.
There are plenty of people who just don’t want to play with others.
So far the interaction with other players has been limited to them being pretty NPC-like.

And it’s perfectly possible to enable both group and solo players.

I want to start in T IV right away with a permanent 100x profane stack ROAAAARRR!!!

You can definitely speed your way through pretty fast but I usually end up playing with the misses and stretching my time to 50 hours. Mostly waiting on PoE2 and dont have much to jump to afterwards

Lol the Blizzard devs working on WotLK during BC ruined WoW. J Allen Brack and his team of idiots ruined WoW, not the gamers themselves. Brack also wouldnt give us vanilla classic because he thought we thought we did but we didnt. Brack also led the charge for joining with Activision. Know your history. Dont act like the gamers are ever at fault for developmental errors.

I would rather say that middlegrounds tend to be bad.
Pick your niche and make a game for that. Bland games are for nobody.
You will never create a game that makes everyone, or merely most people, happy.

The middleground is what lead to Blizzard of today.

The players who ruin the game are those who do not use their heads and are guided by the phrase “it’s not that bad.”

Bad is bad, no matter how small it is. It is impossible to eliminate all the bad, but the less bad the better.

I’d disagree and say that most blizzard games cater to the super casuals or those willing to open their wallets for any inconvenience (grind).

please let them just make a “HARDER” mode, a game setting that nerfs characters 50 % and buffs monsters 50 %… and such… i would like a little more struggle then currently happening right now

Can I be honest here? I don’t even know wtf you’re talking about lol
